Possibly the best burger I've had in Mexico.

Great service, good drinks and food. They open early, so if you're hang over, that's the place!

The waiter Jose was perfect. Now to the meal, I ordered chicken marsala with past and spinach. The past was worm at best maybe even stone cold. And marsala was not even marsal.

Solid Italian food. Owner is a Mexican from Brooklyn. What more could you ask for if you're hungry for Italian food in a small Mexican town. Good food, nice atmosphere, a definite thumbs up.

A watering hole/eatery on the west side of the plaza that lives up to it's name. George, the bartender on duty, introduced me to almost every patron (a cool mix of older expats, younger travelers and locals). SBSC is dog friendly, jazz and blues friendly, smoker friendly, budget friendly, even friendly to the street performers who would occasionally pop in trolling for tips ...just plain friendly. There are 8 or 9 bar-stools around the L-shaped bar which is short enough to prime conversations yet long enough for elbow room. Tables on the patio out back and a small dining room off to the side complete the setup. Tho I was more thirsty than hungry I was still able to sample one of the highly regarded menu items, a wonderfully crusty and perfectly seasoned marlin cake with mango sauce when a beautiful girl sitting on an adjacent bar stool insisted I try a bite of her dinner. Yes, that really happened. Did I say friendly yet? Augustin, the owner, and Phil, the Chef, were hipsters and historians who were fun to talk to and kept the vibe simmering. Great place to cool your heels, wet your tonsils or extinguish your hunger. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Our stay in the boutique hotel part of Social Club has been great. It’s a perfect location, close to all the best bars and restaurants; only a short walk to the beach. The margaritas here are top notch and the food is freshly prepared and really flavorful. If you get the chance, chat with the owner, Augustin!

We go here because of Sandra who every time made us feel super welcome...plus the clientele were interesting people!

Gringos that live here go there. Sandra has the bar and restaurant. I either eat breakfast or dinner when she's cooking at nite. She runs cab also. Bilingual and a good friend to have. Always tries to have whatever it is you like to drink and eat. As long as it's on the menu. Tip her well. She also has dog rescue. Great place to get a cold one.
