Sin embargo su río es un atractivo para las fechas de semana Santa el cual baja desciende hasta unirse con los ríos de Usila y conformar lo que es la presa de Tuxtepec. Es un selva tropical en donde hay gran diversidad vegetal y animal pero con un clima oscilante entre lo cálido con un promedio de 30° aprox.
