El "Huaxmole" o guisado con chile de huaje (o guaje) es un platillo típico del lugar que dejará satisfecho hasta el más exigente de los paladares. También recomendado es visitar el deportivo "La Capilla" cuyo diseño arquitectónico rivaliza con los europeos.
Ampliamente recomendado visitar este lugar, y para los cultos, es obligado...

Y en abril se aproxima su carnaval con chinelos una danza tradicional de más de 80 años, casi ya un pueblo mágico!!!
Se están remodelando tanto la ayudantía, el Zócalo, la casa museo del General Emiliano Zapata y sus carreteras, vale la pena visitarlo!!!
