I fell completely in love with San Miguel. The tlayudas and mezcals were my top (I highly recommend trying them all). Your attention is kind and super warm. The atmosphere is perfect to go with family, friends or as a couple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ San Miguel es de esos locales inesperados, ricos y agradables, perfectos para aliviarse el calor de la tarde (que de pronto se te convierte en noche) o el castigo de la semana (que de repente se te transforma en anécdota), compartiendo un rato la vida con gente que quieres: sea con tu grupo de amigos, con un date peligrosón, con tus compañeros chidos del laburo, o hasta con banda que te topas ahí mismo -porque se presta, cuentan.
Está de lujo para platicar, carcajearte, cantar (de pronto se arma el karaoke) y claro, echarte unas ricas memelas, o taquitos, o enchiladas de mole color mi suerte, o unas tlayudas que son un auténtico poema lírico; sin mencionar las viejas confiables chelas al gusto y, sobre todo, los obligados de la casa: variedad de sabrosísimos mezcales artesanales que te sirven con ese amor que no se puede fingir y que se delata en lo bien que le saben al paladar y lo mucho que reconfortan el espíritu (ojo, los dueños se lo traen directo de su familia de productores locales en Oaxaca, ya te imaginarás).
Uno vuelve a los sitios donde amó la vida, dicen que dijo la inmoral digo inmortal Chavela... y a San Miguel, tarde o temprano se regresa
