San Miguel is a vineyard as one expects to know a vineyard, which is distinguished by the quality of its wines. There is not a single wine that is bad, the quality of the food is excellent.
The tastings and tours are punctual and have beautiful views.
If you go, be sure to visit the restaurant, although it is for a good celebration or pampering someone in passing, you will be in for an incredible surprise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It said they were open, we went to three separate gates, but they were closed. Very disappointing after driving hours to do a tasting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great winery with excellent hospitality and professional team.
The Rosé was delicious and the red blends amazing ???
The location has changed recently - drive off the highway and through the small village until you cross the railway lines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My brother and I went on a "detour" to get away from the overwhelming family activities. We ended up at Viñedo San Miguel. Make note they are only open Wednesdays - Sundays from 10a until late, I don't recall what time they close so I wont post that. this place is AWESOME. It's got that high end, relaxing sense of space. It's a modern building in between San Miguel Allende and Comonfort. (The next best town before getting to Celaya). We were offered to go up to the restaurant but we weren't dressed for that. Oh, don't misinterpret that you can't go to the restaurant but I knew better than to go up to a restaurant in shorts and a t-shirt. We were offered the tour but didn't have the time for that. I heard those are fun. We were offered to walk around but we opted to sit at the cheese bar where we met Noemi the Chef making charcuterie boards for the restaurant located on the 2nd floor. She was awesome and talked to us while she made the boards. We opted for the wine tastings at the bar. To cut this long story short, I tried all of their wines and all I can say is DO try their Rosé!!! It is really, REALLY Good! I will have to make it a dinner date with my significate other to enjoy the amazing views and the entire environment that surrounds this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place. Great wine selection. It's owned by Cuadra - a famous Mexican brand known for exotic leather shoe and clothing. I own few of Cuadra boots and the quality and design are among my favorites

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the 500 peso per person San Bartolo tour and loved it. José Luis, our guide was fabulous, super educated and wine savvy - friendly and fun. He took our group up the tower, explained the vineyard’s history and process, took us around the vineyard and ended up with wine tasting.
A couple of pro tips : without doing the more expensive tour, you can order a cheese plate at the deli counter before your tour starts to be available with your tasting when you get back from the vineyards (and it’s fabulous) .
Also if you just want the afternoon out experience at the vineyard can just go the restaurant for the afternoon.
