★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La iniciativa del Ayuntamiento de recuperar el también denominado "Parque Humboldt" fue una buena idea al principio, cuando se tenía un poco más de control en la limpieza y el cuidado de las ventanas arqueológicas. No obstante, el espacio es un recordatorio de la relación del pueblo con el agua, además de un espacio para sentarse un rato a mirar los hallazgos arqueológicos de siglo XIX encontrados durante la última remodelación. Es un sitio de historia que conmemora por un lado, la fuente de agua de la que aún se abastece Tenango del Valle, y por otro, la leyenda que cuenta que el Barón de Von Humboldt, en sus correrías por estos lares, probó el agua tenanguense y aseveró que ésa era "la segunda mejor agua del mundo".
El espacio es escenario de picnics improvisados en día de mercado y de reuniones que dejan mucha mugre, siendo perfecto escenario de la capacidad de arruinar las cosas que tenemos los mexicanos.
En resumen, es un sitio que podría ser aún más hermoso con limpieza más exhaustiva pero sobre todo, sentido común de los tenanguenses y visitantes del lugar.
