Department store: Expensive! I do almost all of my purchasing elsewhere. For example I saw a 65" fully featured tv on sale, 60% off. The next day I saw a similar tv at Costco regular price about 4k pesos less. Don't believe the discount is real here.
Candy counter: I bought a variety. When I opened the sealed bag the next day and tried a piece, I spit it out because it was so stale it was inedible. Some of the other candies were ok (not any were actually very good though). Some of the other pieces were terrible also.
Restaurant: I have a very narrow view on this, but I love the red pozole... these guys do it right every time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service in general; I invited my family to breakfast just to receive cold food, horrible coffee and a bitter waitress, who seems to owe her something. You didn't learn anything from the pandemic, don't come or refrain from the consequences. A shame! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many things in Sanborns that you can't find anywhere else, like greeting cards. They also have a place where you can order beautiful cakes for special occasions. Health & beauty and medical supplies and lovely handbags.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited on Sunday 01/30/22 at about noon, we were told from the beginning the waiting time for food would be 30-45 min, since we have time we didn’t mind the waiting. We ordered the breakfast packages that include juice and coffee, mine was steak with beans and my wife scrambled eggs.
The Sanborn’s staff were working extremely hard, the place was full. The waitresses that serve us was sweet and gentil while multitasking with like 10 other tables!
Overall it was a good experience for the value and taste, if the service would have been faster they for sure would’ve ge 5 stars
