We entered this restaurant by accident on the last day of our stay in Mexico. A very interesting and worthy institution! The most attentive and friendly staff. The food is delicious here! They offered a souvenir in the form of a mug. Everything is very high quality and beautiful!

Lovely relaxed restaurant. Made to feel welcome even though we didn't speak much Spanish the waitresses were super nice .. We had breakfast here most mornings as it was nicer than the hotel restuarant

We really enjoy the service and the quality of the food. The paella I had was tasty and delicious as was the 'barbacoa de cerdo' We really appreciate the warm welcoming to the restaurant. Two waitress that really took there time to explain and offered suggestions were Magdalena (afternoon shift) and Rosalia (morning shift). Both of these ladies made our visit to this restaurant a very pleasant one. Highly recommended restaurant and close by our hotel.

Terrible food and service. The waitress was so mean and evil that I couldn't believe it. The food was cold and did not taste well plus was really small. I regret it not eating on the street, Better and 5th less the price. The waitress was supposed to give me the chips first and she brought it in with the plate I ordered. When I was done with the main course she picked up the chips. Let me kept them but took the butter out. Since I didn't wasn't a drink she didn't like it and kept asking. When she brought me the check she asked me if I wanted water to then charge me for it. She needs to find another job.

Average food, high prices. We were the only people in the dining area, seated in a far corner, but when two more groups came in they were set right next to us completely disregarding social distancing. All the ambiance of a huge empty diner.

Sanborns Casa de los Azulejos at Madero Avenue was our first official stop in Mexico City after leaving our luggage at the hotel concierge. It was my husband's first trip to the DF and I wanted him to fall in love with this historic place that I just love. And boy did he fall for it! This place is always packed and we waited about 15 minutes for a table at the main dining room first floor. Not bad at all. You will be given the option to sit at two other dining areas, but for the real Azulejos Experience stick to your guns and wait for a table downstairs. The architecture, decor, walls, their signature dinnerware and the piano player will make it an unforgettable lunch or dinner. A must see is the stairs that lead to the restrooms - and there will be a line for the bathroom too so be prepared. We had the Enchiladas Suizas which are to die for. A super cold Cerveza Sol made my afternoon. And dessert and coffee were a perfect ending. For our second visit we took a table on the second floor and it was absolutely beautiful and grand. With large wooden doors open wide and birds coming in and out leisurely, plus chandeliers and woodwork worth admiring. Viva Mexico!
