★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar es pequeño pero con un toque super acogedor y muy tradicional respetando la cultura Oaxaqueña. La comida es un poco cara pero vale cada centavo por toda la experiencia y atención a los detalles que le da el personal a la comida. Sin duda regresaría cualquier día.
The place is small but with a super cozy touch and very traditional respecting the Oaxacan culture. The food is a bit pricey but is worth every penny for all the experience and attention to detail the staff brings to the food. I would definitely go back any day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar es agradable, menú muy caro, servicio regular, no hay separación de gente que va a comer y de gente alcoholica y borracha. Me tocó estar en una mesa junto con dos personas que parecía que estaban en la cantina. No lo recomiendo.
The place is nice, very expensive menu, regular service, there is no separation between people who go to eat and alcoholic and drunk people. I had to be at a table with two people who seemed to be in the canteen. I do not recommend it.

Sandunga nos ofrece cuidadosamente los sabores tradicionales de sus mercados, sé que el chef Roberto personalmente busca la mejor selección de ingredientes, desde chapulines, tasajo, tlayudas, cacao y MEZCAL! sobre todo eso?. Tienen una estricta capacitación con su personal, de modo que la atención es tan cálida que te sientes como si estuvieras visitando a tu familia❤, de veredad TOOOODO lo que tienen en el menú vale 100% que lo degusten porque esta DELICIOSO! no dejen de ir y pidan reserva en su terraza, en unos meses más abrirá nuevo espacio con una vista espectacular a los lagos así que se convertirá en uno de tus lugares favoritos de xalapa veracruz!
A corner of Oaxaca in Xalapa! for me the best tribute to the cultural and gastronomic wealth of this beautiful state of Mexico. Sandunga carefully offers us the traditional flavors of its markets, I know that chef Roberto personally looks for the best selection of ingredients, from grasshoppers, jerky, tlayudas, cocoa and MEZCAL! about all that ?. They have a strict training with their staff, so that the attention is so warm that you feel as if you were visiting your family❤, really EVERYTHING they have on the menu is worth 100% that you taste it because it is DELICIOUS! don't stop going and ask for a reservation on its terrace, in a few more months it will open a new space with a spectacular view of the lakes so it will become one of your favorite places in xalapa veracruz!
