Santa Ana Hotel - 97000 Mérida

Very comfortable and very friendly staff! WiFi on first level didnt work very well. But still a nice and cheap place to stay. We can recommend this place!

The hotel is very well-priced, super clean, with outstanding staff who will answer all your questions and help direct you to local restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions. The smallish pool will enable you to cool off on hot afternoons. Rooms are not large, but perfectly adequate for your visit. (I am concluding a three week stay.). Breakfasts are ample, and will get you off to a good start. The location—several blocks from the Paseo de Montejo—is fine. The hotel is about 1.1 kilometer from the Plaza Grande, so it is especially good for people who like to walk and explore surrounding neighborhoods.

This was a great place to stay. Dulce at the front desk was always helpful with all our silly questions and transportation needs. The location is superb and the rooms are clean with good a/c and fans. Will stay there again.

I'll remember this place. It's so inviting when you sit in the cafe with the big arches and all the greenery. It really feels homey and peaceful. The best part is all of the wonderful and friendly staff. We loved all of them from the front desk staff, to the kitchen staff, to the cleaning staff. We were always greeted with smiles and helpful tips on places to go, renting a car, and even driving to Uxmal and a local cenote. Breakfast was also nice and convenient. I wish we could've stayed longer. It was so nice with an amazing energy and at a great value. Also very central and walking distance to alot of cafes, restaurants, and boutiques and if you wanted to go further, a bike rental was only 50 pesos for the day. Overall, it's clear why this place has such great reviews. Thanks Santa Ana!

Strongly recommended! Reasonable price with good facilities and service. During our stay, the hotel managers were all very friendly and helped us book a car which was cheaper than what we would pay at the airport. The car was sent directly to the hotel, which was also very convenient. Because of passport issues, I had to stay in Merida for one more week. No doubt I decided to stay at the same hotel — I would actually wish to stay longer.

I was told about this hotel by my cousin and I wasn't disappointed what so ever!! So warm and cozy and the people working there are fantastic. If your looking for full 5 star treatment, tennis courts, massage etc...then go somewhere else. If you want simple pure comfort, come stay here...inexpensive, in the middle of Centro, walk in any direction and you find different things... Love it ! See you next year. Thomas Gracias. Amazing from arrival to departure! We LOVED the place! Warm welcome and everything was possible in this hotel! They will do you favors whenever they can! We asked for ice, we got it. There was always great coffee for you to drink at the front desk and the whole place smelled very well! It has atmosphere :) We felt like at home. Our room was in the third floor so it was bright but I noticed that rooms in the first floor were quite dark so I can imagine that guest accommodated there didn’t have such a good experience as we did. There were little stains on sheets but we didn’t mind since the room was clean and so were the sheets. We didn’t try the pool but we liked sofas at the front desk very much and we hang there both nights. Very comfy! Wifi worked perfectly in the whole hotel. Thumb up for optional change of towels - saves environment :) There is a fridge at the front desk where you can store your own food.
