Un obligado. La iglesia de Santa Prisca es un exquisito ejemplo de la arquitectura barroca novohispana en cantera rosa. Financiada gracias al impulso económico de la actividad minera durante mediados del siglo XVIII.
A must to visit. Santa Prisca’s church is an exquisite representative of the New Spain’s architecture during its baroque period using pink quarry stone. It was financed thanks to the economic progress achieved by the mining activity over the middle XVIII century.
So many details can take an entire afternoon to admire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful church in its own style. Unfornately, construction was being done when we visited last week, so we could not appreciate it. The church is located in Taxco Zocalo. If you go down the same street, you will find great wooden items, ceramics, and souveniers. Do not miss it.
