Supuestamente el avistamiento de luciérnagas, son solo unos meses al año. Entonces yo recomiendo el lugar dentro de ese tiempo, (ya que el chiste es ver luciérnagas). Desconozco las condiciones fuera de ese tiempo.
"Indispensable llevar" impermeable arriba de tu sudadera o chamarra (o en su defecto, una chamarra impermeable)..
Yo recomiendo más, un impermeable sobre tu chamarra, porque quedas super mojado!
Algún tipo de bota antiderrapante, por qué suele llover. Y como en el recorrido caminas por la zona boscosa, es inevitable que no llueva! Y termines hecho sopa!?
Incluye algún cambio de ropa extra: calcetines. Pantalón. O camisa.
Que es lo primero que te mojas al ir caminando con algo de lluvia. Y que el impermeable no cubre completamente.
El clima es fresco-frio, por la zona boscosa. Sumándole la lluvia.. Lleven con que cubrirse.
Cuenta con lugar para estacionar tu coche.
Y tiene amplia la zona para instalar las casas de campaña!
Puedes llevar alimentos, bebidas, hielera, bocina, etc. Ya que la zona de camping, es retirada a la zona del recorrido para las luciérnagas!
Los sanitarios quedan algo retirado del área de camping.
Te dan algunos alimentos que van incluidos en el costo al entrar. (Solo que no recuerdo si era desayuno y comida?).. la cena completamente no lo recuerdo.
Tiene puestecitos donde venden botas de plástico e impermeables, para que puedas hacer el recorrido. Obvio un poco más caro que si tú traes tus cosas a tu elección.

The toilets are somewhat removed from the camping area.

It has stalls where they sell plastic boots and raincoats, so you can do the tour. Obviously a little more expensive than if you bring your things of your choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Las personas que te atienden son muy amables y muy serviciales. La comida es deliciosa, los paquetes están a muy buen precio.
Los guías te explican muy bien durante el recorrido y no te dejan con ninguna duda.
El lugar está limpio y cuentan con estacionamiento, baños y área de acampar, además que es seguro.
Sin duda regresaré cada año a ver tan maravilloso espectáculo natural.
The people who serve you are very friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious, the packages are at a great price.
The guides explain you very well during the tour and do not leave you with any doubt.
The place is clean and has parking, bathrooms and camping area, and it is safe.

Y el espectáculo que se ve de las luciérnagas en el bosque también es muy lindo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar hermoso. Los paquetes están súper bien, los alimentos no se me hicieron caros. Todos son muy amables. Lo mejor de todo es que no necesitas caminar grandes distancias para ver las luciérnagas. Pero el plus es que si te quedas a acampar las luciérnagas te acompañan toda la noche. Incluso se meten a la casa, jejeje. Cuídalas mucho y trátalas con cariño. El momento de verlas es casi mágico y prepárate para meditar. Tienen otras dos caminatas, también muy interesantes. No nos tocó lluvia, pero más vale que te prepares, porque si llueve, vas a ver más luciérnagas. Ve de preferencia por tu cuenta para que tomes los paquetes. No se te ocurra ir en viernes o sábado, porque llega muchísima gente. En cambio el domingo te toca gente, pero un poco menos y para acampar estás prácticamente solito. Hay estacionamiento, esquites, comida, tienda y cafecito. Por cierto, la señal es medio mala, jejeje.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es hermoso. Solo hay dos cabañas muy mal acondicionadas, pero acampar está bastante bien y los.baños están bien. Y la.gente es muy amigable por 500 pesos te dan comida de que nunca te quedas con hambre y probé los mejores esquites de mi vida.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es la segunda vez que visitamos Nanacamilpa el santuario de las luciérnagas y es una excelente experiencia , vete preparado porque es muy probable que llueva y como entrarás al bosque seguro hará frío … ten una buena sudadera y chamarra impermeable,así mismo zapatos cómodos … ahora conocimos este lugar y el costo que nosotros pagamos solo por el recorrido de las luciérnagas fue de 300 por persona y es un buen precio , te lleva un guía y te interna en el bosque mientas va oscureciendo y vas viendo cómo empiezan a brillas las luciérnagas , me gusta porque el paraje cuida el medio ambiente y su santuario, la gente que te atiende es muy amable y servicial , cuanta con Baños , tiendita, lugar de estacionamiento , una cabañita donde podrás consumir alimentos como comida en paquete o antojos como quesadillas y gorditas. Comimos elotes, esquites, gorditas, tlacoyos y quesadillas acompañado de un café de olla con canela y endulzado con piloncillo … lo mejor de todo fue el café !
No esperes lujo , pero si buscas un lugar rústico y estar en contacto con la naturaleza y vivir esta experiencia este lugar lo recomiendo
Puedes ir a acampar que también debe de ser muy padre… si me gustó y regresare el próximo año
It is the second time that we visit Nanacamilpa the sanctuary of the fireflies and it is an excellent experience, go prepared because it is very likely that it will rain and as you will enter the forest it will surely be cold ... have a good sweatshirt and waterproof jacket, as well as comfortable shoes ... now we met this place and the cost that we paid only for the fireflies tour was 300 per person and it is a good price, a guide will take you and you go into the forest as it gets dark and you see how the fireflies begin to shine, I Like it because the place takes care of the environment and its sanctuary, the people who serve you are very friendly and helpful, how much with Baños, a small store, a parking place, a little cabin where you can consume food such as packaged meals or cravings such as quesadillas and gorditas. We ate elotes, esquites, gorditas, tlacoyos and quesadillas accompanied by a coffee pot with cinnamon and sweetened with brown sugar ... the best of all was the coffee!
Do not expect luxury, but if you are looking for a rustic place and be in contact with nature and live this experience, I recommend it.
You can go camping which must also be very cool ... if I liked it and I'll be back next year
