El Santuario de la Luciérnaga Ejido Santa Rita Tlahuapan, al estar ubicado en el Eje Neovolcánico Transversal, posee escenarios naturales que son dignos de admirar; manantiales, árboles y fauna, genera a todo visitante, experiencias placenteras. El siguiente documento de corte descriptivo, narra el proceso de formación y capacitación de los guías turísticos de dicho centro ecoturístico durante la cuarta temporada de avistamiento de luciérnagas comprendida entre los meses de marzo y agosto del presente año. Al contar con un proceso de capacitación, cuya metodología partió de planteamientos filosófico-prácticos de la Educación Ambiental, asegura que los visitantes, además de conocer el proceso de apareamiento de las luciérnagas, valoren la importancia de cuidar y preservar escenarios naturales ricos en diversidad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar es un bosque muy bonito, lleno de leyendas. Los guías son jóvenes muy amables, organizados, que cuidan y atienden muy bien a sus respectivos grupos.
Está muy cerca de la Ex Hacienda de Chautla, en autobus como unos 40 minutos (por topes y baches)
Las luciérnagas brindan un espectáculo singular y hermoso. Vale la pena el frío, la mojada de lluvía, y lo tosco del camino por verlas revolotear al rededor de uno
 The place is a very beautiful forest, full of legends. The guides are very friendly, organized young people who take good care of their respective groups.
It is very close to the Ex Hacienda de Chautla, by bus about 40 minutes (for bumps and potholes)
Fireflies provide a unique and beautiful show. It is worth the cold, the wet with rain, and the roughness of the road to see them flutter around you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esta súper bonito, y me encantó que tienen distintos viajes por si van adultos o si llevas peques. Y son dos recorridos, uno abajo, aún durante el día y el otro en la noche. Realmente la experiencia es única aunque debes ir bien preparado para acabar mojado, así que la ropa de lluvia está perfecto para disfrutar a lo grande y por supuesto debes llevar una buena cámara que tome fotos de noche, o solo saldrán en negro.
This super nice, and I loved that they have different trips if they are adults or if you have kids. And there are two routes, one down, even during the day and the other at night. Really the experience is unique but you must be well prepared to end up wet, so the rain clothes are perfect to enjoy big and of course you must bring a good camera to take pictures at night, or only go black.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nosotros acudimos el dia de ayer, y la verdad el nuevo lugar no nos gusto para nada. Pagamos un plan plus q te incluia pan y cafe, souvenirs, degustación de pulque , entre otras cosas y no nos dieron más q pan y cafe, no hay sana distancia, y lo peor para nada nos informaron q se habia cambiado de lugar al parecer por problemas con los ejidatarios , pésima organización, cuando preguntabamos por el paquete q habiamos pagado, se echaban la bolita unos a otros. Muy poca asistencia en el nuevo lugar de luciérnagas y las guias q nos pusieron no sabian nada de los relatos q te van haciendo. Es una lástima vamos cada año y este fue muy malo.

We paid a plus plan that included bread and coffee, souvenirs, pulque tasting, among other things and they did not give us more than bread and coffee, there is no healthy distance, and worst of all, they informed us that they had apparently changed places. Due to problems with the ejidatarios, a terrible organization, when we asked about the package we had paid for, they threw the ball at each other. Very little attendance in the new fireflies place and the guides that they put us did not know anything about the stories that they are telling you. It's a shame we go every year and this was very bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El espectáculo vale la pena. Sin embargo, existe una gran desorganización por parte de la empresa, personal poco capacitado y no te brindan indicaciones. La página te ofrece una variedad de senderos de hasta 8 km, los cuales no corresponden a la experiencia real. Ojalá que modifiquen estos servicios para beneficio de la comunidad.
The show is worth it. However, there is a great disorganization on the part of the company, poorly trained personnel and they do not give you directions. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi experiencia fue mala! La organización por parte de todo el personal, es pésima. Nos citan entre 5-6pm y al final te hacen esperar hasta las 7 (todo por aceptar más gente), al llegar al lugar, depende mucho del guía que te toque (el mío muy amable pero cero nos explico nada, no quería caminar (nos quedamos super cerca y veíamos como otros grupos pasaban). Compramos el paquete plus con cafe y pan y al final como no estan bien organizados, ni cafe alcanzamos. Sin duda mala experiencia, es mejor buscar otras opciones.
My experience was bad! The organization by all the staff is lousy. They meet us between 5-6pm and at the end they make you wait until 7 (all to accept more people), when you arrive at the place, it depends a lot on the guide who touches you (mine was very friendly but he explained nothing to us, he did not want to walk ( we stayed super close and watched other groups pass by.) We bought the plus package with coffee and bread and in the end as they are not well organized, nor did we reach any coffee. Without a doubt a bad experience, it is better to look for other options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar es bonito, en medio de la naturaleza se puede escuchar los sonidos del bosque, en el tour incluía degustación de pulque, café, pan y una pulserita tejida por los lugareños, la experiencia vale mucho la pena, aunque existe un pequeño inconveniente, si hay mucha gente y no existe la sana distancia, pero el recorrido es increíble, algo que ninguna cámara puede transmitir. Super recomendable el guía Memo.
The place is beautiful, in the middle of nature you can hear the sounds of the forest, the tour included a tasting of pulque, coffee, bread and a bracelet woven by the locals, the experience is well worth it, although there is a small inconvenience, if there are many people and the healthy distance does not exist, but the route is incredible, something that no camera can transmit. The Memo guide is highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sin duda el observar las luciérnagas hace que valga la pena la mala organización de los encargados. Hay buenos guías, habría que tener mala suerte para que te toque uno que no sepa mucho del tema.
Cuando llueve es cuando mas luciérnagas salen y se ve todo muy bonito.
Los sonidos nocturnos del bosque también son algo que hace única la experiencia.
Without a doubt, observing the fireflies makes the poor organization of the managers worth it. There are good guides, you would have to be unlucky to get one who doesn't know much about the subject.
When it rains it is when more fireflies come out and everything looks very nice.
The nocturnal sounds of the forest are also something that makes the experience unique.
