★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food. Big portions for a fair price and the food was excellent. Its across the street from the beach. Good place to eat and drink and have the beach view and not be in the sun and wind. Staff was friendly. One of the better meals I ate in the Yucatan area. I got the cuban sandwich, black beans, and a mojito.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A new restaurant on the malecon. Excellent Cuban food with the perfect combination of spices. Polite and attentive service. A good variety of Cuban dishes and some Mexican ones as well. The food was tasty and a good presentation as well. The restaurant very clean as were the restrooms. Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be returning myself soon. Also, try the new gelato shop next door for dessert to cap off the evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Authentic Cuban Cuisine. Very friendly staff, food was delicious and great prices. Definitely will go back when in Progreso again. We highly recommend it if you are looking for real Cuban food. They also have Mexican food but we went with the Cuban menu.
