★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the worst Thai restaurant we have been to inside or outside of Thailand.
Waited over 20 minutes to get a drink before the food came.
The Tom yum Goong was so small it would have fit in a small coffee mug.
The papaya salad had cabbage instead of green papaya. The waitress tried to convince us, it was indeed green papaya. We live over half of the year in Thailand. This was a blatent liie.
WHAT CAN YOU LEARN FROM THAT. DON'T EAT A THAI RESTAURANT UNLESS THE CHEF IS THAI.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can't get much more tropical than Sasi! You feel transported to another world inside. The whole venue is stunning and the ambiance is romantic. Our last dinner in Cancun and by FAR the best. Our server was just a doll so friendly and efficient. I had the sea bass... DELICIOUS! The coconut Martini was so good I had two! And to top off this perfect evening one of the most beautiful tropical sunsets we've ever seen right from our table. This will be a definite go-to next time in Cancun. Come around 6:30 to enjoy the sunset and evening ambiance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome Authentic Thai place. Great DJ music! Huge bar! Great food & drinks! Just loved the combination satay skewers (10 qty) & BBQ on top of the table just sizzling away…the beef & pork fried rice, and Pad Thai Tofu. Had 2 perfect cucumber ginger lime Hendricks martinis!! Really nice breeze from the bay side & ocean being under the fans with the sides completely open. One of our favorite restaurants all week…my family loved this place!!

Atmosphere is nice, good alive music, personal is friendly.
First time was quite good food (Curry was very good, Tom Yum was so so). Cocktails not bad, but could be more delicious.
Second time got just spoiled Pad Thai with sour taste, not eatable. Restaurant could offer at least any complimentary dessert or drink, but didn't make it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Thai place ever had. Our party had a vegetarian option only. The waitress asked about food allergies too. Ended up getting fish sauce. Asked for Thai hot spicy level, got a side of chill red flakes. Never recommend this place. Take your money and give your business to some other place. Wonder how Marriott Cancun has this association without actual Thai recipes.
My 2 cent advice to you.

The place was really nice. Excellent show.
Food was good, service was excellent, Maria our waitress was super nice, fast and efficient .
We enjoyed the time there, food, cocktails and wine
We ate curry, pad Thai, clams… and it was delicious.
Really authentic place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Thai food in clean, well decorated, and comfortable venue. You really feel like you’re on island vacation when you’re here! Food is delicious and staff are very hospitable. Prices are on par with every other restaurant hotel in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sasi Thai is one of the main restaurants at Marriott Cancun. This place stands out for the beautiful decor and seating area. The servers were attentive and the menu was diverse. I tried one of the beef curries which was ok but definitely not among the best Thai food I tried. Also the dessert was nothing special. I mainly enjoyed this restaurant for the atmosphere! Prices are within expected for hotel restaurants. Opening hours can be confusing but for dinner try to arrive at least 1 hour before closure.
