★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Control Satelital Mexsat, también llamado Centro "Walter Cross Buchanan" tiene sus orígenes con la puesta en órbita del Satélite Morelos en la época de los 80´s, cuando Neri Vela viajaba al espacio en la misión STS-61-B de la NASA.
Actualmente desde él se opera una nueva generación de satélites mexicanos conformado por: el Bicentenario, para comunicación fija, asi como el Centenario y el Morelos 3, para comunicación móvil. cuenta con dos Centros de Telemetría y Control para la operación de estos satélites.
Es parte de la Secretaria de Comunicaciones del Gobierno Mexicano .
The Mexsat Satellite Control, also called the "Walter Cross Buchanan" Center has its origins with the orbit of the Morelos Satellite in the 80's, when Neri Vela was traveling to space on NASA's STS-61-B mission .
Currently, a new generation of Mexican satellites is operated, consisting of: the Bicentennial, for fixed communication, as well as the Centenary and Morelos 3, for mobile communication. It has two Telemetry and Control Centers for the operation of these satellites.
It is part of the Ministry of Communications of the Mexican Government.
