Unfortunately some of is got sick after eating the shrimp in different meals. I used to love their seafood molcajete and last night it was way too spicy.

I got soaked in fat chilles rellenos, cecina tasted like a shoe. Waitresses running like crazy, rushing atmosphere, smell and smoke all around. Plus: aguas without sugar, thats why they get 2. I would not come back there and Im wondering how could they get so high in stars ?

I would avoid this place. The mixed and other alcohol drinks are horrible. The food tastes good and is presented well. Here is the major problem with this place… Be prepared to leave a large tip or the waiter will throw a fit and stick the tip in your face and yell “SALUDE?!, SALUDE?! THATS A SMALL TIP!” Very inappropriate to treat a guest so poorly, even if there was no tip. Remember, Europeans don’t generally tip (only confused tourists tip) and Canadas customarily leave smaller tips than Americans. I’m sure his antics work on some and bring in extra money for him. I would just avoid the place. There’s a lot of pleasant places in the area.

Not sure why this place doesn't have 5 stars. We ate at many high end spots in town prior to this place and none compared. The food, atmosphere, and hospitality were above our expectations. We were on a search for the best molcajete bowl and after having a few this proved to be the best by far. The chili rellenos weren't what we were searching for but proved to be beyond amazing. I don't think you could go wrong with any dish here.

Vegan Food Finder The most amazing peppers I’ve had. The Chile Relleno can be veganized and it was absolutely delectable. It was smothered in a savory and sweet cinnamon raisin house sauce. Definitely nice to be able to try a traditional Mexican dish other than tacos. The napoles (cactus) salad also offered a punch of flavors. Yumminess: 5/5 Affordability: 5/5 Heartiness: 4/5

We live in California, now celebrating our 18 years of marriage in Mexico. Everything is so colorful, the streets, its people, the drinks, the music, the restaurants, the beach. After spending a few days in Puerto Vallarta, we went to Sayulita. Every day we went to the beach and on the way back we had lunch in different places. The white and red tables caught my attention and we decided to try this restaurant. The only drawback is that I prefer not to eat on the street, when I mention it to the waiter he offers me a table on the first floor. Much better: They have a large terrace with many tables overlooking the street. We started with Guacamole mexican style, cheese, tomato, cream and red sauce and drinking jamaica water and passion fruit. Then my husband ordered Roast Meat: Grilled meat in grilled strips served with refried beans, guacamole, nopales and cambray onions. Served on a wooden plank. Im always willing to try new and exotic flavors so I ordered a nopal salad: a cactus. Roasted nopales in brine and mixed vegetables. All very well served, the waiters - there were three of them - very attentive and professional. The next time I go to Sayulita I know where to stop for a delicious and healthy lunch. I highly recommend it.
