★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really fun place to train. Everyone is super cool and Tavo makes class fun and interesting. Even if Sayulita wasn’t paradise on its own, I would still come back just for the jiu jitsu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently dropped in on a class and got some rolls in during a vacation in Sayulita. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and Tavo introduced some great material on lasso guard. I’ll definitely be stopping by on my next trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to Sayulita for surfing and had no idea there was a Jiu Jitsu gym until I arrived. I stopped by to check it out and was welcomed into a super friendly environment. The instructor Tavo is a wealth of knowledge and teaches classes in Spanish and English. I didn't bring my Gi and Tavo was even kind enough to let me borrow an extra one for the time I was there to train. The students are all friendly and felt like family by the time I had to leave. There is a wide variety of experience and belt levels. 100% recommend!

If you’re ever in the area, it’s an absolute MUST that you stop by for some rolls and to check out their academy !! I’ll be packing my gi every time I return! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tavo and the crew were very welcoming and enjoy training hard. The academy is right downtown and has a laid back vibe, along with a juice/smoothie bar. During my week long vacation in Sayulita I was lucky enough to train there 3 days in gi and no gi. One of the best parts of my vacation! Can't wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a place to train while on vacation in Sayulita and came across Sayulita Jiu Jitsu. I reached out through Instagram and was immediately responded to and was welcomed to come train. The gym is awesome and I can not say enough good things about the place. Tavo is a class act and an amazing instructor you can see how much he cares about the people he is teaching. The rest of the team all welcomed me with open arms and treated me like I was one of their own. This was one of the highlights of my trip and I am looking forward to visiting again soon.

During the pandemic, when classes and activities were starting to open up we looked for a place for our son to continue his training in jiu jitsu here in Sayulita and we were absolutely thrilled to learn about Tavo and his dojo at SayulitaFit.
