In the WhatsApp number they have no idea if they have product stocks. Graduates in administration and industrial engineers are urged to help the company make up for the tremendous disorganization they have.

What a great find! As a German you really appreciate finding some of your traditional meats and cold cuts while traveling extensively around the world. This place is run by Juan Alejandro and his wife who got their recipes down to a T. We tried the German salami and black forest ham and those were delicious. You can buy from their small wholesale store directly - cash only. They also happen to rent out rooms on Airbnb which we also used during our stay in Merida. Super clean and excellent value!

Today we went to Schirp Delikatessen, supposedly a German delicatessen Store. They don't have any of their goods visible, you order from a very promising list with what seemed very reasonable prices but unfortunately the quality was very disappointing. The Milan Salami is as far from an Italian salami as it could ever be. Cooked sausage instead of cured. It tasted like some German sandwich sausage but not at all like a real salami The German potato salad was swimming in oil, from the 250gr we ordered 78gr was oily dressing. I drained it to check. Yikes (see picture) The Mortadella is small and not ground fine enough , there is an overwhelming taste of what might be nutmeg. In a sourdough bread with mustard and pickles it's probably edible but very very far from the real deal. The worst of all was the Bremen pastel, awfully bland and just greasy and sweetish. The smoked bacon i have not tried yet, it looks ok. I had bought a lot to give most of it to my driver for his kids who live cold cuts etc. We tried each in the car and even though he is not German, he did not like it either (i hope his kids do at least). The service was friendly and efficient, they have benches so you don't have to stand around until you get your orders. That saves them from only getting 1*. If you want the real deal, go to Meyer's! It's much more expensive but much much better and authentic.
