★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased water can Bonafon Agua pet 20Lit on 8th Aug'21. We were told very clearly by the counter sales lady that we should pay amount of 100 pesos extra for the can and the same would be refunded to us when we handover the empty one. The lady asked us to keep the receipt safe and asked us to bring the empty can along with the receipt. Since we are leaving for US, we brought the empty one and tried handing over the empty one.
Luckily the same lady was present in the Stores and she asked us to wait for some time as she has to get the Authorization from her supervisor. To our surprise, the lady says that the supervisor has told that the amount can't be refunded. All our efforts to explain and convince them went futile. We said that we will call the supervisor and the lady says she's not available.
We feel cheated and didn't expect the same with 7/11 stores. This is a very bad experience we had sofar and wonder why they don't adhere to the commitment made to the customer. It's not good for the stores to let the customer carry this kind of impression. I also head the customer service ops in India for one of the automobile companies and it's very important that we keep up our commitments.
