About Scuba Diving Anfibios Huatulco
Alex's oldest son Efren ist the captain on our diving boat. Despite his young age, he is only 20 years old, he has great navigation skills at sea. But Efren is more than just the captain! He is very charismatic and enjoys talking to our guests during their stay over water, without being obtrusive. He loves to get information about other countries, don't be surprised if he asks you a few things about the country where you come from! He also helps our divers to prepare with the equipment before the dive, and get back on board after surfacing.

At the beginning, I wanted to do a wreck dive in the area - while that was possible, Alejandro gave me a succinct list of pros and cons of the dive and convinced me that there were better spots - it was the type of genuine advice that was very helpful, while he still left me the final say. The dives we did in the end were mesmerizing and very diverse. All the while, we were very professionally taken care of and the atmosphere was friendly and amicable. All of this for a very fair price - can only recommend it!

I did the dive in English if you don't speak Spanish.
The price is also quite low compared to the other places in town.

His vast knowledge and experience in regards to diving/ the ocean is extremely apparent. I learned so much and am so glad I choose Anfibios Huatulco! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knowledgeable instructor! He suits the dives for your skill level and wastes no time ?. Originally was aiming to do a couple of dives but ended up doing loads and a course?.
Night diving was amazing with illuminesance and we experienced a number of mini caves. Photos and videos were taken and give at no charge ?
Highly recommended.

They even took us for a closer look at some whales in the boat. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and I love that it’s a family business. I definitely recommend diving with him when you come to Huatulco!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best dive shop in Huatulco. Alejandro is very attentive and went out of his way to find a thicker wetsuit for me as I easily get cold. Diving with him and his crew is always super chill, we can take our time and have a nice break btw dives - they even bring little boxes of fruit for everyone. We've been diving with Anfibios a few times now and plan to go again soon!
