Best scuba on Isla Mujeres. Friendly, helpful and safe. Highly recommended!

We had a great two tank dive in the morning. Arturo was our dive master and switched all of our tanks between the dives. He made sure we saw rays, turtles, nurse sharks, lobsters, and the cool sculptures and sunken VWs. Gabriel did a fine job with the launch and the boat had a big hard top to give some shade. I Would go again with these guys for sure. Very convenient shop with only a short one or two block walk to the boat.

The Scuba Garrido team is amazing!!! I was staying on Isla Mujeres for the week and I wanted to dive but I did not have any plans nor did I look up any dive shops. I usually scope out the area and visit different shops and go with my intuition. I was driving through the streets of downtown and this special little shop caught my eye. I booked my first dive and off we went the next morning. The team is extremely knowledgeable and just all around fun to dive with. One of the divers, a 78 yo man named Bill had been diving with one of the instructors for 20 years! I ended up doing 6 dives with the Garrido team, including one incredible night dive. I saw many turtles, sea cucumbers, octopus, shrimp, lobster, and a million other creatures because these guys know their dive spots and where to find everything! They really go above and beyond, I am coming back in December to do the bulk shark diving and I can’t wait. 100% recommend this dive shop, beautiful people with knowledge of the best spots to dive!

We did our open water course and we got more than that. We ended up eating every day with them and having nice conversations after our clases. Arturo the instructor is super reliable and professional. All the scuba family was friendly, helpful and professional. We had an amazing time while doing our course. For sure if I come back I would love to come back with them. I highly recommend them.

Had a great time! Friendliest guides, they will talk to you about anything you want. Did the snorkeling tour around musa. If you have an underwater/waterproof camera-bring it.

Scuba Garrido is amazing! Alvaro and his team are incredibly kind, passionate, safe, and fun! I cannot recommend highly enough. I would give this dive shop ten stars if I could!

The diving center is the best one in Isla Mujeres. After researching our options the team at Scuba Garrido was the nicest, they explained very well and were happy to do a refresh for us. Alejandro our instructor was very helpful and created a great experience by showing us the wild life and made it really fun! Definitely recommend this diving centre, thanks heaps guys!!

We booked our whale shark tour with Scuba Garrido and could not have been happier with our decision. The crew was extremely friendly and professional, and the boat that they take you out on was nice and comfortable. No one in our group got seasick (we saw several other people on other boats who weren’t as lucky). The captain got us safely close to several whale sharks and it was the experience of a lifetime. Each couple got to go in the water twice to swim with the sharks, and then afterwards we got to hangout at a sand bar on an island beach and enjoy fresh ceviche. If you’re looking for a good company to book the whale shark tour with, look no further!
