This was our first trip to Playa and our first experience doing warm-water diving. Irene and Miguel were incredible. We spent two days with them doing ocean dives and one exploring cenotes. We didn't feel like we were new to the shop, it felt more like meeting up with old feiends. My only regrets were that we didn't plan a longer trip. I truly can't recommend scuba10 enough and am already planning my next trip to Playa to dive with them. Thank you Irene! You are beyond amazing!!

I did my open water licence here, first time diving. Irene was a great teacher, gave very helpful feedback and made sure you had a great experience diving. Honestly the whole team of scuba10 is amazing. They know you on first name base after the first contact, are really helpful to service you to anything you need. After my open water licence, I went fo a cenote dive with Miguel. Make sure you don't miss out on this unique experience. Big thank you to the whole team, I had a blast! I will definitely be back!

Hands down the best dive shop in Playa! The owners Irene and Gerardo are very impressive people, extremely experienced and professional, friendly and genuine, have enormous respect for marine life and are exemplary ambassadors for diving who have quite the reputation around the town. They prioritize their clients’ and staff’s safety by providing the best diving gear, establishing good diving habits and offering high quality training. The staff (from front desk to dive masters, instructors, and captains) are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and just make you feel at home. I’ve had experience with multiple dive shops in Playa and Cozumel and this place is just outstanding! I’ve had over 30 dives with them and I highly recommend them.

I completed my SSI open water certification here and my guides were Miguel, Dris, and Irene. I had an amazing experience. The first day I dove in the pool to learn how to use the equipment and be comfortable under water with it. The second day I did my first ocean dive with Miguel and he was great in walking through some exercises and making me feel comfortable with my gear. The third day I dove with Irene and she was awesome at teaching buoyancy control and what to do in emergency situations if you are out of air. She also took kickass photos of us while we dove. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I recommend Scuba10 to everyone!

Me and my gf walked around the entire Playa del Carmen and visited nearly every scuba diving school in order to choose the best school for the Open Water Diver course. We chose this one almost immediately after talking to Irene - the dive master, patient, honest, knowledgeable and funny woman! And I’m very happy we did because Scuba10 didn't only certified us but made us feel like a part of one big family, they made this a terrific adventure! ? We've never tried scuba diving before and our instructors Irene and Syria were again very patient and knowledgeable, answered all my million questions, made us feel safe by explaining equipement, different situations and procedures. They generously took time to make sure we understood everything and felt confident and comfortable underwater. Scuba10 is the passion driven people, from briefings before the dive to cleaning the equipment after the dive, extremely professional and at the same time very kind and fun people, you truly feel like among friends and family there. Did 4 dives over 2 days and had an amazing time. Our instructor Irene was fantastic and attentive, I completed my certification with SCUBA10 and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Aside from tropical warm clear water and wonderful weather, the SCUBA10 team and equipment were fantastic. I highly recommend diving with their amazing and attentive team. PS: If you ask Irene to take photos of you, she will, and she will capture some great moments. <3

Since I never had the chance to finish a diving certication, I am always destined to do the 'discover diving' course. Also this time with Scuba10. In total I did 3 dives, including one in the pool. The 2 ocean boat dives (10m and 14m) were along some reef of the shore. We saw plenty of marine life, making it a great experience. Next to that I was accompanied by the very friendly and experienced dive instructor Irene. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience!
