Sea Sayulita - 63734 Sayulita

My friends and I had the greatest day with Rene and Sea Sayulita! From the moment he picked us up in the morning Rene was kind, warm, and encouraging. It was my first time learning to surf and I was nervous. We had a mix of experiences in our group and he took us to an area that was quiet but absolutely met everyone’s needs. For the beginners he started us out on the beach and went over the basic techniques and safety measures. He watched our form and provided clear directions to correct any issues. When we were ready he paddled out into the waves with us. Rene patiently worked with each person one on one. Everyone in the group was able to get up on waves over and over again. He called out directions, helped us know when to paddle, and was constantly watching and close by which was a huge comfort. He included time to relax on the beach with provided snacks and drinks before heading home. It was absolutely a trip highlight and I would do any one of Sea Sayulita’s excursions again and again.

SeaSayulita created the experience of a lifetime for us! We first met Rene on the main beach where we had a lesson that was great for our group of 3 varied levels of surfers. We all got tips and tricks and were catching waves in no time! The second day of our SeaSayulita adventure Rene and Mahui brought us to a secret surf spot where we did a small hike through the woods to get to a secluded beach with perfect waves. They helped us catch waves, had an incredible time on the water with us, and even brought a full beach setup with umbrella, fresh fruit and refreshments. At the end of the session Rene made fresh guacamole for us. The entire experience was absolutely unforgettable and so over the top. We asked if they could accommodate another day for us during our trip and they did without any problem. We spent another beautiful day checking out more surf spots, got a local tour, and learned so much about the area. We capped off the adventure by meeting with Christian from SeaSayulita where he had a beach bonfire waiting for us and we made friends with some other travelers that were doing a different SeaSayulita tour earlier that day. Every element of the adventures were fun, we learned about the land and region from the guys, and we all felt completely safe with the SeaSayulita crew. I would 1000% recommend making SeaSayulita part of your Sayulita trip!!! It would not have been the same without them.

I cannot say enough great things about Rene, Maui, and Christian. The experiences that my two friends and I had were unparalleled leaving us wanting to stay forever. Rene is so easy to learn from and the level of service and professionalism were through the roof. 15/10 would recommend anyone wanting an exceptional and unforgettable experience to get in contact with Rene and Sea Sayulita. We will definitely be back.

Booking a lesson to surf with Sea Sayulita was a day we’ll never forget! Rene took us to a less crowded beach just outside of Sayulita that had the perfect waves flowing in to learn on. With Rene’s helpful guidance, we were able to get up on our boards in no time! Rene’s enthusiasm kept the stoke high & we stayed until the sun set, sipping on some cerveza’s. Whether you’re looking to catch your first waves, or advance your knowledge/skills with the sport, Sea Sayulita is a perfect go to. ??

Rene was fantastic! He brought us to a perfect surf spot for beginners (which we are). He was super patient with our 10yr old son and got him into some great waves! He was knowledgeable, kind and lots of fun. His English is impeccable. He also gave us some great recommendations for other activities for us to do while in Sayulita. The afternoon ended on a perfect note when he grabbed us some cocos frios on the way home. Can’t recommend him enough and we are hopeful we can do another excursion with Sea Sayulita soon.

We had an amazing day with Rene - we were catching waves on a break with only the three of us there. Rene was so helpful giving us tips and you can’t beat a sunset beach fire. Definitely book a day with Sea Sayulita :)

René went above and beyond for our excursions! We booked a boat surf trip on the first day, where René picked us up from our Airbnb and drove us out to meet Maui who placed our boards on the boat and took us out to a private spot for catching waves. They provided fresh fruit, beer, and helpful tips while out in the water. The next day we went on a full day Secret Waterfall trip. René knew that we were interested in surfing as much as possible during our time in Sayulita and offered to take us to a local spot with his buddy Chris 2 hours north of Sayulita before the hike down to the waterfall. The surf spot was unlike any other! Perfect waves in a secluded beach. After a few hours surfing we went over to the waterfall which was beyond amazing! René and Chris prepared fresh ceviche and guacamole right at the base of the waterfall for all of us to enjoy. I can’t express how much those visiting should book an adventure with SeaSayulita as René has really put his heart and soul to making sure everyone enjoys beautiful Sayulita! The attention to detail and will to go above and beyond really made our trip the best! Can’t wait to go back and book another excursion! Gracias para todo!

Great experience! Whether you want to go surfing to hiking, secret waterfalls and beach fires, they plan the best adventures. We had an amazing time out at a Surf Break that we would have never known about. It was secluded and quiet so we had it all to ourselves with amazing waves. Unforgettable experience. If your ever in Sayulita this is a must do.
