★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En General, el servicio es bueno, pero hay una señorita en atención en cuanto entras, que parece que ocupa marido, una prepotencia bárbara y humilla a la gente que con esfuerzo paga un pasaporte para poder tener una identificación con el fin de poder ir a trabajar a USA, ojalá y pudiera entender que la gente lo tramita por necesidad no por soportar sus prepotencias
In general, the service is good, but there is a young lady in attendance as soon as you enter, who seems to occupy a husband, a barbaric arrogance and humiliates people who with effort pay for a passport to be able to have an identification in order to go to work in the USA, I wish I could understand that people process it out of necessity, not because of their arrogance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Con lo de las citas en línea o por teléfono, ya está más organizado. Y entregan el pasaporte el mismo día, solo que hay que esperar afuera, en el sol, hay que ir preparando con gorra o algo para el sol que está súper fuerte. No dejan entrar más que cuando ya te toca pasar, y para afuera a seguir esperando que den el pasaporte.
With online or phone dating, you are more organized. And they deliver the passport the same day, only you have to wait outside, in the sun, you have to prepare with a hat or something for the sun that is super strong. They do not allow you to enter more than when you have to pass, and they stop outside to continue waiting for the passport to be given.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pésimo servicio, no pueden reparar su sistema de red para entregar en tiempo el pasaporte y como resultado lo entregan en otro día. Si alguien viene de fuera debe de regresar para recogerlo. Además sus instalaciones son deplorables para esperar considerando que el clima es muy caluroso.
Terrible service, they cannot repair their network system to deliver the passport on time and as a result they deliver it on another day. If someone comes from outside, they must return to pick it up. In addition, its facilities are deplorable to wait considering that the climate is very hot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saca copias rn B&N de todos los documentos que debes presentar. El servicio es puntual si tienes cita. Pero tienes que esperar afuera en la banqueta y en el sol.
Sacan copias y curp a 3 locales del lugar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muy mal servicio, tenia cita 10am, son las 2 pm y aun no paso. Ademas que te tienen esperando afuera donde el clima es muy caluroso.
Deberían cambiar la forma de operar y no dar tantas citas para que puedan atender en tiempo y forma.
Very bad service, I had an appointment at 10am, it's 2pm and it still hasn't happened. Plus they have you waiting outside where the weather is so hot.
They should change the way they operate and not give so many appointments so that they can attend in a timely manner.

El servicio es relativamente rápido, debes acudir con cita agendada y todos tus documentos, al lado hay un local donde pueden revisar que lleves todo en orden y sacar copias.
Con llegar 20 min antes es suficiente ya que no puedes pasar y debes esperar afuera parado en el sol si aún no es tu hora de cita.
Te entregan el pasaporte el mismo día aproximadamente en una hora.
To be a government office it needs maintenance.
The service is relatively fast, you must go with a scheduled appointment and all your documents, next door there is a place where they can check that you have everything in order and make copies.
Arriving 20 minutes before is enough since you cannot go in and you must wait outside standing in the sun if it is not your appointment time yet.
They give you the passport the same day in approximately one hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores appears to be popularly known as passport office, but I don't know if more can be accomplished there. Possibly Mexican citizens come here to seek help with their foreign ventures and experiences.
No matter what happens here, it seems halfway safe to say that just about every soul in Tapachula will wait in line here at some point in any given year. It's that the place is mobbed by people trying to get in all the days the place is open. People stop me, a wandering old cow, to ask, "Where is the passport office?" And I saw, "Over there amidst that mob of people under the umbrellas."
Many people coming to stand before this government office bring umbrellas, portable shade. Others go across the street, huge numbers, and sit in a dense crowd under the shade of a bunch of trees. How they keep track of their places in line cannot be grasped in passing.
This is Mexico, so it's assured that food is available for the waiting people as are private offices that will do your paperwork for you for a fee. They do trámites. I'm trying to understand now the vocabulary of this trade.
