En los últimos años del siglo xix se inicio la construcción de este edificio como residencia del poder legislativo, su fachada esta revestida con cantera gris, sustentada por pilastras con capiteles de diseño muy cargado, su imaginación se registró el 10 de mayo de 1901 por el entonces gobernador Próspero Cahuantzi, y funciono para este fin hasta 1982
