This place is amazing to say the least. This was my first time doing an all inclusive destination wedding. It exceeded all expectations with quality of food and atmosphere. I had so much fun

Was just here last week, the customer service was outstanding and the place was very clean and they sanitized the golf carts after almost every time you got on. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I was not able to make it to all of the restaurants but the few I went to, the food was anything to brag about. It seemed like the mixed drinks were a little watered down / not strong enough. Had some random issues with the hot water not working where there was no water pressure and had to take a cold shower then once calling they moved us to another room.

Secrets Playa Mujeres is an adult only 5* resort designed for adults enjoy themselves. The Pool area, which includes a swim up bar is very popular. Daily entertainment around the pool by the entertainment staff + volley ball twice a day. The beach area is lovely, cabanas and lounge beds and lots of umbrellas. The 7 or so restaurants are all good, no, better than good and I the food is enjoyable. But resorts of this type don't run themselves and it's the staff that make them what they so the people you should look out for are as follows:- Karina + Gabriela at the VIP Services desk YanahiMera - the Preferred Club Manager David - the Pool and Beach. Manager Sheydi - the Manageress attached the Japanese Restaurant Aeremio - a waiter at the the French Restaurant Manuel - a waiter in the breakfast room. If you go to Secrets, make sure these aether people you stay close to....they will make your stay more enjoyable....just like our two weeks.

Messed up our reservation even though it was made almost a year ago and had to sleep on a roll away bed for 2 days until room was available, they put 3 adults in a room with one bed. Food was ok but not anything special but all the people were very nice and treated us nicely.

Great service, entertainment and restaurants. Beach clean and bar service great. Grounds were beautifully kept. Use of Dreams complex next door was a bonus. Drinks were fine but not all top quality.

We had a GREAT time here! The staff was amazing, the food was great and the poolside service were good. I read several reviews of this location and saw some very bad ones along with the good ones. I'm not sure what happened with the people in the bad reviews but we experienced only one of the problems I saw listed and that was the drains being slow but that was a very minor inconvenience that didn't affect us at all. Overall, I recommend Secrets Playa Mujeres to anyone thinking about visiting this area.

Love the resort! Very good and honest service from staff at Resort. We never left . But buyer beware! The rezort let in some local people to sell art and t-shirts and Jewelry and other things and The Man Who Sold us t-shirts said they glow in the dark and they don't. I knew they didn't when we bought them but my husband did not and he is very upset. The man lights them up with a black light and then flips the lights off and then back on very quickly to "show you" that they glow in the dark. The man they let in selling jewelry sold fake opal, calling it Mexican opal and would not specify which kind. I already own Mexican fire opals and a beautiful Mexican Brown opal, and many other kinds of opals. All of which I got from reliable sources here at home. Opals only look fake to those who know opals. I have tried to reach administration at the hotel to let them know this but I can't reach anyone. Please stay at this Resort it's great just don't buy anything from private vendors there.

Place is awesome. Service wonderful. Ultra clean. The restaurants could use a little improvement. I didn't like the sushi (too sweet). Italian was a lot better. Definitely get your drinks at the preferred club because otherwise they're just flavored water
