Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa - 77580 Puerto Morelos

This place is absolutely beautiful with service to match. The beach is right there for wonderful swimming or snorkeling sessions. If relaxing in or near a pool is more what you want you have 3 pools of differing activity levels to choose from. My wife and I spent most of the time in the Secrets side where it is more relaxed. You have access to the Breathless side that is more active and party-like, but the Breathless people do not have access to the Secrets side. There are plenty of dining possibilities ranging from a breakfast and lunch buffet, to Asian, hibachi, Mexican, Italian, French, a grill with excellent burgers, a pizza oven, a steak house, and a tapas restaurant. Our favorite was to go to the Asian restaurant. Priscilla is one of the hostesses there and is extremely kind. She remembered us each time and treated us as if we were VIPs. There are several places to get drinks from, our favorite bar was the Preferred Club Lounge where Levi was wonderful to talk to and helped us to pick the drink we wanted. Levi also gave us some good information about the resort and what activities to do, we were very thankful to have him as our bartender. The place that we spent the most time was right next to the pool in the Secrets side where the servers happily took our drink orders. Cruz and Urbano were two people that were there for us the whole time we visited and were extremely patient with us. There were pool attendants such as Victor there that were also a wealth of knowledge and they introduced us to the two resident iguanas, Lupe and Pancho. If you did want to participate in poolside entertainment there were people like Miguel there to help you have a good time. We visited in June when it is seaweed season. A bit of seaweed washes on the shore and accumulates. There are people working to clear a large amount of this but they can't get it all. Do not let this keep you from swimming in the ocean. During the time that my wife and I snorkeled we saw a ton of fish, starfish, conch shells, stingrays, a barracuda, and lots of other sea life. There are several shows throughout the week that are definitely worth going to. Our favorite was the salsa dancing show, but the Frank Sinatra/Michael Buble style singer from Spain was wonderful, as well as the Elements show. Overall I am truly grateful for the service I received here and I would gladly come back.

We had a great week at the resort. Victor was amazing and attentive throughout our time at the pool and beach- he made sure we had everything we needed even before we knew we needed it! Gabriel was fantastic. He always had creative and delicious drinks for us to try and was so efficient and friendly to everyone at the pool! Mishika was great too - she was our waitress when we were on the beach and remembered our favorite orders every day. We had a wonderful time! The only real issue we had was with the initial transportation from the airport to the resort - it took over 90 minutes before the bus company was organized and ready to leave the airport. We’d recommend either taking a taxi or reserving a chartered/private van to reduce the risk of delays.

The a majority of the food options are disappointing, for the quality of the resort. However, I give the Rosewater, The Nook and The Strip 4 stars.

Just arrived. The red carpet was laid out for us.The staff was more than helpful. Our room was also upgraded. Beautiful weather and beautiful resort.

This is the best place I ever visited. The service was top of the line and then some more. Most restaurant food is great. Some can definitely use upgrade. Pools are mind-blowing. Their parties are rocking.

From the moment we arrived it felt like vacation. Staff, hotel and food was more than excellent. Big shot out to Fabian and Umberto who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Hotel rooms are very modern and really make you feel like home. I will be back!!!

We just returned from our beautiful trip! The service was incredible. The staff was accommodating and dedicated to making our stay special. Not to mention, I accidentally left my cell phone on the beach and an employee found it and turned it in to the front desk. It was returned to me safely. There truly are good people in this world.

My husband ended up at this resort by accident, but it was the best accident we could have asked for! The staff in all areas were amazing and so friendly! The food was excellent especially for an all inclusive, I was very impressed! Favian at the pool made our stay above and beyond, he is so sweet and happy, we usually don’t like going to the same resort twice but we want to come back just to see Favian and all the amazing staff!
