Sedona Grill - 77500 Cancún

We had brunch buffet, mini size of Vegas brunch buffet, major food are American food, about $33 USD per person, the beach view is great, many people here for the buffet.

The food was good. The views were as well. I even liked the birds lol. Awesome atmosphere here in Cancun. I shall return one day soon.

We just popped in to eat breakfast before leaving for the airport. The food was good but portions were small. Service was good but we had to wait for a table and it was a little slow. We waited 10-15 minutes to be seated even though it was not crowded. I asked for the check and split the check with cash and credit card but the server charged the whole bill to the credit card and kept the cash!!! I was upset and demanded that I get the cash back and they did give it back but if I hadn’t been paying attention I would have been out $22. It’s been resolved but I don’t think I will visit there anytime soon.

Sedona Grill is conveniently located in the JW Marriott Hotel and beautifully situated in the resort with views over the pool area, the grounds, and the ocean. You can either eat inside or outside on the wrap-around covered deck. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has large windows letting in a lot of sunlight. We came here every single morning of our stay for the breakfast buffet. It is a little pricey, but we strongly feel that it’s worth it. From the moment we reached the entrance, we were warmly greeted by the staff members. They were attentive to our plates and dishes throughout our entire meal, and were ready to offer juice, coffee, tea, and anything else we wanted. The buffet offers a wide range of interesting juices (cantaloupe, papaya, etc.). I recommend sampling them all before selecting a favorite. The breakfast foods offered spanned a wide variety, from traditional Japanese miso soup to Mexican chilaquiles to French pastries and sweets. Bagels, croissants, waffles, pancakes, chilaquiles, chips, salsa, guacamole, omelets, tamales, cereal, bacon, yogurt, fruits, honey, pickled vegetables, cheeses, smoked salmon, tuna, shrimp dumplings, chocolate pastries, danishes, oat bread, nutella, and more. We were very impressed with the selection. I went back several times, because I like trying all of the different items. I looked forward to Sedona Grill’s breakfast buffet every morning. I left extremely full and happy.

Good breakfast buffet, the Mexican buffet for dinner on Tuesday was fun with a really good Mariachi band.

Truly authentic Mexican Grill cuisine! Sat outside over looking the JW Marriott lighted water way streams and lazy rivers. Huge bar! Great food & drinks! Just loved the complementary starters, Yucatán Guacamole with Pork skins & bacon. For our entrees the Pork Belly, Filet Mignon & Beef Short Ribs were amazing. I had 2 perfect margaritas on the rocks with dinner. My only complaint was there wasn’t any breeze from the ocean, so it was very hot & uncomfortable being outside in nice linen pants & linen shirt. They should have installed fans on this back patio. A huge construction miss by Marriott Design Team!! This was one of our most favorite restaurants all week as well…my family just loved this place!!

Grab a table outside, get a coffee enjoy the buffet. If you want it for breakfast they got it, oh yeah do they have sushi? Yes, Mexican burrito? Yes, made to order omelets, yes, egg rolls? Yes French toast? Yes. OR order off the menu. Solid spot for breakfast or brunch.

Some of the best meals we had during our trip to Cancun came from the resort's brunch and dinner spot - Sedona Grill. The hospitality was extraordinary with a special shout out to Eleazar & Victor for their personable and excellent service. Keep in mind the brunch hours end at 12 so it is advisable to go earlier in the morning if you are participating in the buffet. The amazing food we had and the unforgettable hospitality made our stay at JW Marriott truly incredible.
