I guess its a fair price but all good prices come with a hidden surprise lol. Hotel is good to stay a night be prepare. Things they do not tell you, 1 st they never answer the phone i had to send whatsapp and even then i got lucky they answer twice. 2 nd no parking at the hotel, they have some sort of arrangement with a parking lot across the street still costs you 160 pesos on top of your nightly rate. 3 rd LOTS OF NOISE. I have no idea why they still remodeling yet have no signs to warn you and also some guests literally playing with furniture in the middle of the night. 4 th There was alot of dust and it was hard to find as it is a big building with a little tiny sign!!!! Overall i had very little sleep but i manage to stay a night to continue my journey. They sell alot of cool stuff a little pricey but cool. They do need more staff tho.

I enjoyed a quiet and comfy standard bedroom (no TV) on the 8th floor. Excellent view of Colonia Americana and landmarks in Centro. The staff were friendly and attentive. They kindly let me see the room before booking. There are weekly activities listed in the elevator. Only downsides were the smells from the kitchen drift into the bedroom in the morning and water gets all over the floor when you shower.

This hostel has a very nice co-work/working space with fast wifi (50 down/ 50 up), with water and make your own coffee. Pretty quiet and chill when I got here on a Saturday. No parties. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm and all the furniture felt like new and in good condition. Also chill and quiet during my stay with some street noise as expected. Guests have slower wifi (5 down/10 up).

I stayed in the “loft” which was a private room with kitchen and bathroom, a studio apartment. My main issues, which I addressed with the staff over my week long stay: ? Cleanliness: there was so much dust in the room and the bathroom was not clean when we checked in. Over the course of the stay they barely did any cleaning to the room at all unless we specifically called out what we wanted. The icing on the cake here: there was a pair of socks and a candy wrapper we discovered under our bed when my earring fell. Of course there was dust down there too. ? COVID Policy/ hotel maintenance: there is only 1 place to get water and it barely works. Usually that sink is full of dirty dishes. Also, I never saw anyone wiping down or disinfecting any of the common spaces like doors, elevators, etc. Not a good look when a space is highly trafficked. + the value, strong wifi, and location.

The design is cool. I liked where it's located in the city. The drawers under the bunk beds are nice. All bunk beds have curtains. The receptionists are really good. Free drinking water is provided. A co-working area is available. The locker inside the bunk bed is too big. You can move less freely in the bed. The locker hurt my knee several times. That big locker makes it also more difficult to enter the top bunk bed. I suggest to remove the locker and provide the drawers with a lock. There is only one bathroom for 8 persons. You may have to wait in the morning until it's free. During club evenings and nights it's loud everywhere, also in the library / reading room.

Since 2018 I’ve been wanting to try a Selina destination and finally this month decided to give Selina a try and I will never stay at a Selina again. We booked their Studio Apartment because we wanted our privacy, quiet and have access to our own kitchen since we cook a lot. The apartment we got was on floor 8, which is directly beneath the rooftop floor. Normally this would be great, but Selina had numerous parties on the roof with music so loud I couldn’t even have a work call in my room. It was terrible. When booking a place with a private kitchen you’d expect there to be at least the basics to make a normal meal but this kitchen seriously lack even the basics. It looks like someone gave an 8 year old kid 300 pesos to buy things for the kitchen. There wasn’t even a pot to boil something in, nor was there a cutting board to cut anything on. We had 2 sets of cutlery. 2 knives, 2 forks and 2 sets of plates and 2 plastic cups. Not even a single spoon to have cereal. The most basic of necessities. Initially we planned to stay for up to 2 months but after the second night of the rooftop partying disturbing our peace and basically nothing in the kitchen to cook with we decided to go elsewhere.

This is my first experience staying at a Selina. I've stayed at many hostels before but I gotta say Selina does it right! I stayed in a dorm and never had a problem with noise even when the hotel was at capacity. All of the staff, management, and employees were super professional, friendly and helpful. The yoga studio is quiet, clean and a great place to destress from the hustle & bustle of the city. The location is amazing, right at the top of Chapultepec and everyone I met was awesome. Will definitely be staying again!

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing people who work here. From the time I checked in the staff has been so friendly and accommodating in every way. My bank had turned off my card and the hotel staff was so patient and helpful while I got this issue resolved. I have traveled to many countries and hotels and the people here seem very special. Wendy who is an intern at the hotel took the time to show me the entire property and explain all the important information about staying in the city. I could not believe how smart and professional she was. The property is amazing and the prices to stay here are reasonable. I am very fortunate to have found this place and would recommend it to any traveler who values positive people and staff members who treat you like friends and family.
