★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t recommend this hotel. If you are looking for a calm and elegant place to stay and to get away from it all, this is not the place for you. The rooms weren’t clean, there was one day where my room wasn’t cleaned by the cleaning crew even though I put the door tag. There was no hot water at all to shower. The loud music didn’t allow me to sleep, my room was shaking with the loud bass from the music. I reached out to the room service and I got not response back. The breakfast wasn’t what I expected, as I got eggs that I felt were made of egg powder. This facility is for young people who are just traveling for a while and a stop off for a week or a month. This is not a place for that I would recommend for any type of piece or tranquility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m just going to say that staying here made me and my friends vacation pretty miserable. Things this place doesn’t mention on their website that you should be aware of:
•They play loud music at the club downstairs until 2 in the morning every single night. You can hear it in your room and it shakes your walls. It really doesn’t matter which room you’re in. I had friends staying in different rooms and the music was really loud for them as well. This place doesn’t seem to respect that not everyone there is there to party every single night. My friends and I were exhausted the entire trip from not being able to go to sleep at a decent hour. The front desk wasn’t helpful at all when we complained about the music. All they said was “I’m sorry” and did nothing about it. You could at least try to see if they can cut the music off earlier one night, but nope no effort on their end to help.
• They say that breakfast is “free” on the website; however, you will get charged a $5 service fee each time you have breakfast. So no, it is not free.
• the hotel/hostels are nice as is the space and amenities, but hearing loud bass til 2 or 2:30am every night really made for a miserable vacation experience. It’s unfortunate because this place is pretty affordable compared to other spots on the beach, but after staying here I can see why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of my favorite spots in Tulum. Prices here are very reasonable and they give you access to the beach.
The servers are warm and welcoming and they do their very best to ensure customers are well taken care of.
Had an amazing server who went above and beyond. Will definitely revisit next time in Tulum.
Learned that for next time, come through Selina and get a spot and walk the beach.
(Had so much fun, forgot to take enough pictures)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location is amazing. We got a private room and it was super clean and big. We had some friends staying at a more expensive location and they said our rooms were nicer here. I see some reviews where people complain about the noise. You do have to be aware that Selina is home to Mia, one of the best beach clubs in Tulum. This place is known for its music and late night parties, if that's not for you I recommend you look somewhere else. Great food, vibes and location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are truly enjoying our stay. After reading the latest reviews my fiancé and I were a bit discouraged to come. But this place is truly paradise.
When coming here, understand this is not a resort. It is a developing small town. It’s beauty lays in its nature and the beautiful beaches.
Nonetheless, our room is beautiful and we have truly enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff overall were friendly but not at all helpful.
One day one we checked in for our 10 day stay. We were told that we would be moving on the last two nights. On moving day after asking if we could stay in the same room we packed up all our stuff and went to the front desk to ask about when we needed to move rooms. The front desk informed us that we no longer needed to move. We were right by the speaker at Mia the night club, so our room vibrated till 2am on the weekends. Not ideal!
2nd, our room was ocean front and we asked about moving and they told us we could move to a lesser room and they had to clean rooms so we had to check out abs check back in at 3 for our new room. I’m sorry, but for the price of the room and the inconvenience of the move we should have been moved to a nicer room and no time without a room should have occurred. Clean the new room, move us, do not leave us without a room as a paying guest.
3rd…. The room itself. It was clean enough but definitely had a mold smell as it is humid so not a big issues. The walls definitely needed new pain. We had a balcony that had no chairs. When we asked for balcony chairs they said not all rooms have them. Again, for the price this shouldn’t occur!! One day when they cleaned our room they took all our towels. The what’s app didn’t work for getting towels so we went to the front desk. The front desk didn’t have access to towels so they gave us beach towels.
The noise. This is not a relaxing hotel. I did read the reviews that it was loud but loud is an understatement, we were sleeping on a speaker box! This is beyond loud, this is unlivable. I feel terrible for hotel guest with children or older people. I get the vibe is fun music but the rooms right by the night club should have better insulation or something. There is not even a option to drown out the noise as it is the vibration that is also an issues.
For the price of this place it is 100% not worth it. I have never paid this much for a place with so little!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good but didn’t meet many of our expectations. For the price, it’s ok but many pros and cons.
It’s a great beach club, staff is friendly, even has a restaurant and lounge called Mia (I don’t like trance but if you do, then great). Great food there and the rooms are generous spacious and elegant.
Music was way too loud and plays late on Friday into Sunday nights til 2am. Bathrooms don’t work properly, service isn’t great until you actually take a walk and visit the reception. Yoga, breathing and other classes were stated free but when you get there you’ll realize you must pay for them.
Overall, I would recommend for someone who wants to stay close to the happening scenes and loves simply walking to the beach area. Would I stay there again? Probably not since there is so many to check out and stay at! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am only commenting for the night out. It has a great garden with beach access. The lights and decorations are beautiful. Amazing views all night long. Compared to other bars around, you feel more free as there are less security people/or they are hidden. Also people profile is more fun than other places. You can actually go and sit on the sand, which was not possible in others. The music is great for the electronic music fans.
Unfortunately the drinks were not good quality despite the high prices. I highly recommend it.
