Like all government agencies, very slow, a lot of bureaucracy, little efficiency. The only good thing is that they are friendly but the rest is bad.

It is not a very pleasant place for obvious reasons, it has a pleasant park in the front where you can see many canvases with photos of missing people and relatives of people who do not want their loved ones to be there. The atmosphere and the smell is sad.

Good service and attention, my visit was for fingerprint printing, it was fast.

In these painful occasions, it is rare to qualify,,, I like it!!! But to our family member that we had to pick up yesterday, after the transfer from the hospital, the paperwork was fast!!!

It is not a place to visit for pleasure, but the attention provided by the administrative and security staff is acceptable

While it is true that no one wants to visit these types of instances, it is necessary at some point. For reasons of life, it happened to me that a relative had to go through this Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences, an inevitable but necessary process. I think it is natural, due to the work they do, odors related to corpses are perceived, I consider that it cannot be avoided, I consider that many people dislike it, but it is the nature of that institution, all Semefos have that particularity. The attention of the staff that works here, I say it sincerely, is very good, perhaps many would like it to be very fast, but although they are deceased people, they are human bodies and the law continues to protect them and strict control standards must be followed for the handling and delivery of a lifeless human body and, within the process that has to be done, it involves collecting and documenting all the data of each lifeless human being to give it the legal certainty that is required. It is painful to have to go to these places for our relatives, but it is part of the process. From my experience, they are a good institution, they treated me very well and gave me all the facilities to make this process less burdensome and supported me in what I did not know and above all, they gave me details of how to handle my relative with respect.
