SEMINARIO MOSEN SOL on Google
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Beato Manuel Domingo y Sol, Apostol de las Vocaciones, quien nació en Tortosa, España, el 1 de abril de 1836, y fue ordenado Sacerdote el 2 de junio de 1860. Apostol infatigable, trabajó en todos los campos: obreros, jóvenes, catequesis y religiosas, entre otros.
En 1873 comienza a trabajar por las Vocaciones Sacerdotales, estableciendo los Colegios de San José. Fundó la Hermandad de Sacerdotes Operarios Diocesanos en 1886, y en 1892 el Colegio Español de San José, en Roma. El 25 de enero de 1909 falleció en su ciudad natal, dejando al cuidad de la Hermandad 10 colegios de Vocaciones y 18 seminarios.
El Papa Pablo VI, en 1970, le designó como "Santo Apostol de las Vocaciones Sacerdotales". Fue proclamado Beato por el Papa Juan Pablo II, el 29 de marzo de 1987. El 1 de octubre de 1995 fueron beatificados nueve Operarios Mártires.

Blessed Manuel Domingo y Sol, Apostle of Vocations, who was born in Tortosa, Spain, on April 1, 1836, and was ordained a priest on June 2, 1860. An indefatigable apostle, he worked in all fields: workers, youth, Catechesis and religious, among others.
In 1873 he began working for the Priestly Vocations, establishing the San José Colleges. He founded the Brotherhood of Diocesan Operative Priests in 1886, and in 1892 the Spanish College of San José, in Rome. On January 25, 1909, he died in his hometown, leaving 10 Vocation colleges and 18 seminars to the city of the Brotherhood.
Pope Paul VI, in 1970, designated him as "Holy Apostle of the Priestly Vocations." Blessed was proclaimed by Pope John Paul II on March 29, 1987. On October 1, 1995, nine Martyr Operators were beatified.
