Sian Kite | Kitesurfing lessons Tulum - Zona Costera

If you’re looking for a full course (from zero knowledge to certified kite surfer) this is the place. That’s how I came in, and I was independent in 4 days. Instructor review: My instructor was Tina, who is an incredible instructor and person. In short, I can say this because she 1: she taught fundamental skills early on, allowing me to be self-sufficient by the end 2: is extremely patient 3: cared deeply that you become independent. She’s driven, but never pushy. Always conscious of your energy levels. 4: She’s fun to be around! Sian Kite People review: Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and sociable. They were always open for me to pick their brains on various techniques and equipment. Sometimes I sat with them for hours after my class was over and chatted with them. The culture they nurture here can’t be compared to anywhere else. Facilities: The conditions when I went weren’t the easiest for a newcomer: low winds (yet gusty), strong currents, much seaweed. On the flip side, because of this I was able to practice setting up their variety of boards, bars, lines, and of course kites. Many may learn how to stand up at the average schools, but one of the reasons this school stands out is I’m now able to choose my own equipment and set it up independently. I also feel extra confident in my ability to kitesurf in good conditions now. TLDR: I highly recommend this school. Friendly, fun, and knowledgeable staff. Mastering in conditions here mean extra confidence kitesurfing any other area. In 4 days I went from no knowledge to an independent kite surfer able to set up his own gear.

I had a great time at sian kite. The whole team is very nice and helpful. They teach in Spanish, English and even German. Great for beginners and advanced kiters, surfers or whatever. You can also storage your own gear right at the spot. The spot is right in the center of all beach clubs next to the Papaya Playa Project. The communication was very easy and personal via WhatsApp. Just write them a message and ask for lessons or gear for rental!

Taking kitesurflessons at siankite was a great experience! I was total beginner when I started but with instructor Tina i made progress easily. All lessons were fun and I also felt safe on the water. Overall it was a perfect experience and I’d recommend this kite school to everyone who wants to learn kitesurfing safely and professionally.

One of the best experiences in Tulum! Siankite is THE PLACE to go to for adventure, good vibes, and fun!! Ata and the entire Siankite team were highly professional and kind. It was super easy to book an appointment through WhatsApp, and the team responds very quickly. I enjoyed the private surfing lesson! Ata is an excellent coach. He will motivate and inspire you to do your best and to enjoy the waves! The lesson made me feel more confident in my technique and in safely surfing. Will definitely come back! Highly recommend

Truly an exceptional school. I started from absolute zero, and within 5 days I was riding on my own, and knew all of the important basics. My instructor Tina was excellent! The location is also great. Papaya Playa is a beautiful property with a great beach, and is much closer to town than the other kite schools. 10/10 recommend for anybody that wants to learn to kite!

One of the best kite schools I’ve ever visited & definitely the best kite beach in Tulum. The location is perfect. Only spot for “just” kiters. No beach goers here, so lots of room to launch your kite. The vibe is so friendly and welcoming - it feels like family. I’ve been living here over a year and coming to this spot every windy occasion! Highly recommend the instructors and kite gear rental as everything is super professional!

This place has the best energy! The whole team is very nice and helpful about anything. Weather and the waves were perfect for learning surf. Instructors give all the information you need, motivate you and make you feel comfortable while learning. Even if you are a beginner,at the end of the first lesson you will be capable of surfing and want to come back again to keep practicing!
