Really beautiful spot to hang out for a few hours or formal night. We've been here twice during a 3 week roadtrip through the Yucatan. It is very relaxing and definitely worth a trip. The road towards the place is a bit rough but nothing a basic car can't do. :)

Quiet natural reserve consisting of five interconnected lakes. The facilities and services are minimal and primative. There are rustic individual huts you could rent to stay overnight. You can rent kayaks and wander the lakes. During the dry season the channel between lakes could dry up. There are short trails inside but not much to see in the forest. Bird watching along the dock is good as one is on the edge of the forest.

After spending a night in Cancun and a night in Tulum, this was the most enjoyable day I've had so far. The food was great and the prices were very affordable. There is a beautiful lake with kayaks. Don't be deterred by the bumpy road, this is a gem in the region. We showed up around noon and had the place to ourselves. About 10 more people showed up over the next couple of hours.

Stopped for lunch at Siijil Noh Ha on our way to Bacalar from Tulum, and so happy that we did! Peaceful and quiet in stunning surroundings. The staff were lovely and food was amazing: grilled fish, ceviche, beers and nachos for $560. Finished up with a dip in the Cenote which was amazing. Would highly recommend to check this place if you are travelling on road 307.

We had a good time hanging out, nice and quiet. It's a neat little place, tho very run down. A few families and us gringos were there. The water is ok for swimming and full of tiny fish. There's a few kilometers of extremely bumpy dirt road leading to the cenote. From the main area there's a neat little road (about 600m) through the jungle to a small pier and what used to be some houses. Check it out if you're around and looking for something to do for an hour or two ?
