★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this beach excursion if you go to Progresso. We got off the Carnival Cruise and took a bus downtown without an excursion booked. We had planned on visiting the free beach but we found this one and it was more of a private beach with some really good food. Our waiter Russel was so nice and brought us a lot of food including nachos, chicken fajita tacos, quesadillas, and chips and salsa. He also brought us a lot of margaritas and beer and took very good care of us. Carlos was a great host and checked on us a lot to make sure we were having a good time. He even went on the bus with us to take us back to the cruise ship and gave us a lot of history on the drive back. We ate, drank, relaxed in reclining lawn chairs, collected seashells, and swam in the water. It was a very relaxing day at the beach and I would definitely go back again next time we are in Cozumel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was great and very friendly. The beach was NOT pretty at all. The food was delicious. The drinks were horrible. The vendors were VERY annoying and pushy. I couldn't even enjoy my time there. We left 2 hours after we got there. The pictures make it look beautiful, but not the same image as you see for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go here they are scammers!!! I went here at 4 PM and they charged me the full day fee to sit in the beach chairs which is $350 pesos. The bar closes at 6 pm so i paid $350 pesos to sit in a chair for two hours. They only charge gringos the fee at the end of the day. So I payed the thief waiter $350 pesos w a $500 bill and after waiting for my change for like ten minutes I asked him to get my change and he acted like he forgot. That is dishonest and sad ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently went to Progresso on vacation and had no idea what to do for the day. Luckily, we found Silcer Beach Club. This is all inclusive beach club on a shared beach. They have drinks on menu you pay extra for if you are not interested in the all inclusive buffet. The buffet was chicken fajitas, cheese empanadas/quesidillas, gorditas, black beans, white rice, salsa, quac, queso, chips and watermelon. The beach was clean with plenty of sea shells. It was not overcrowded. The waiters were extremely attentive. The club had the bar/kitchen/tables/pool/lockers, and bathroom on the first floor. The second floor had bathrooms and a wonderful view of the beach and city streets. There was a small hip hop dance group do a dance. The vendors were not rude or overbearing. Our guide made sure we made it to the resort and back to port with no problems. We really enjoyed ourselves. Shout out to Chris and his crew for telling us about this place and getting us there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not rebook this excursion. The details say that this excursion includes water activities such as kayaking and paddle boats and none of that was included due to "covid." However the location right next door had those amenities. When I let the host, Bianca, know she called her boss in Spanish to let him know what was going on. The funny thing is that I speak Spanish and understood all of what she was saying. She proceeds to complain to her boss about how the customers were complaining about activities and costs and then comes back to me to complain about her boss and how he doesn't know how to run a business and that there was nothing she could do because he would not rectify the situation and he is fully aware of what was going on. Overall, the private beach is tiny, the service from the host was subpar, and they need to update their website. There were not many beach chairs and their pool was underwhelming. Food was okay and they do bring you plenty but this excursion was not impressive. It was ok but if you are traveling with kids please consider doing something else as they will get bored quickly! Pay the extra to go to a real beach club!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our visit here. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. It has a local feel AND the food and service that visitors to the area would want without all the crazy trappings of the larger more touristy playas in Progreso. We relaxed, ate good food, swam and had a great day at the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All dishes were flavourful. My only complaint is that the fettuccine was undercooked, not well done, and very hard to bite. Other than that we enjoyed everything, from the "botana" to the "Camarones en ajo". We will definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have not eaten out on the beach during the pandemic. Asked friends for suggestions. None where open on the day we went. So we checked google map. The Slicer Beach had a shaded area on the beach and a first floor dinning up stairs.
We wanted the whole fried fish . Asked for miedo, but was told they only had grouper . But where then told they had only filete de pescados. We should have left but we didn't. Mojo de ajo and frito were over cooked the coconut ship was with out shredded coconut and also over cooked. We asked for salt and they brought it after we finished eating. We never saw the waiter to request it again. The only thing that came quickly was check.
For a yucataco seafood restaurant the food was terrible, the service inadequate.
The ambiance was great but you can not eat that.
Will not recommend it nor will we go back!
