SIX HOTEL GUADALAJARA DEGOLLADO - 44100 Guadalajara

Llegué al hotel el 21 de mayo con planes de quedarme 9 noches. Se puede acceder al hotel en automóvil, por lo que tuve que llevar todo mi equipaje a través de una zona de construcción y dos plazas para llegar al hotel. Dos días después de la llegada, el hotel no tenía agua debido a una tubería rota. comenzamos a preguntar cuándo se resolvería esto al mediodía y nos dijeron repetidamente que sería a las 10 p. m. No pudimos usar el baño, lavarnos las manos ni ducharnos. A las 11 de la noche dijimos que queríamos encontrar otro hotel y nos dijeron "puedes quedarte en otro hotel pero no te devolveremos el dinero". Preguntamos cómo se suponía que íbamos a ducharnos o usar el baño y la recepcionista simplemente dijo que no. no sé A la medianoche, el agua se abrió durante aproximadamente una hora y volvió a cerrarse. A las 6 a.m. todavía no teníamos agua y después del segundo día sin ducha, dije que quería hablar con el gerente. La recepcionista me dijo que no podía llamarla pero que el gerente le dijo que no le devolverían el dinero. Le dije que quería hacer el check out y un recibo que mostraba que lo hice y la recepcionista dijo que no podía dar recibos. Me pidió mi llave y le dije que se la devolvería cuando recibiera un recibo por irme y la recepcionista dijo que simplemente desactivaría la tarjeta, así que no importaba. Después de eso, dejé el hotel y ahora la compañía de mi tarjeta de crédito está resolviendo el problema. Afortunadamente grabé videos del estado del baño sin agua y el encuentro con la recepcionista cuando salí del hotel que se han proporcionado a mi compañía de tarjeta de crédito. La habitación del hotel en sí era agradable, sin embargo, la forma en que me trataron cuando su hotel no tenía servicio de agua es imperdonable. No recomendaría alojarse en este hotel.

Hotel is located in a bad area, no access to transportation, makes it difficult to carry luggage.

Really bad experience with this hotel. I had booked this hotel through Expedia and it had charged me to reserve the room. However I got to the city around 8-8:30pm coming from Puerto Vallarta in a bus and I couldn’t even FIND THE DAM HOTEL. I called the lady and asked her for directions and couldn’t even give proper directions and she said that she “TRIED” to call us and we have service in our phone and didn’t receive anything. She said that she CANCELED our reservation because check in was at 6pm and gave our room to someone else. MIND you the EMAIL didn’t disclose any information regarding a specific time to check in. She said she “called” us and I’m very confused why she couldn’t use a different form of communication such as email to contact us. I feel like things happen for a reason so I’m glad I didn’t end up there but it was a bad experience because it was 9:30pm after the trouble trying to figure out what other hotels have available rooms.

The rooms were actually fine. The problem is that the hotel is really hard to find. When I tried to check in I found out that the front desk lady had given my room to someone else and she had also downgraded my room, which I had paid extra for. No apologies or compensation was offered. The hotel is in a really bad location. Don’t go out at night anywhere near the hotel. Even the homeless told us not to be walking there at night.

I would not recommend this hotel. The day we got here we have had problems. We got 3 rooms. 1 of our rooms was giving away. The front work. I had to keep asking them to reset the key card. Then last night we came back to hotel and there were no towels. I went down stairs to ask for some and he said he did not have any. I was angry. I wanted to take a shower and couldnt.

To find the entrance of the hotel can be difficult since it's not right of the avenue, you have to walk to and from the street. The check in was easy, paid with my card and they have a small elevator that fits up to four without luggage. The room is cozy, modern and clean. It has the view towards a street that people walk by. They do offer internet and a smart TV. The location is in the back of the teatro degollado and walking the other direction there are the jewelry stores. If you get to the hotel late at night, it can be lonely, not a lot of people after 10pm or so. I didn't appreciate some people would stay up at night making a lot of noise in one of the rooms by us and the sound travels well. Also there is a restaurant near by, that are open late that can be loud too since they have karaoke. I liked the stay at the hotel, at night if you get there late they close the glass door but someone is there to open it.

Nice little city center hotel. Small rooms, but comfortable and clean. Set a couple of blocks east of Guadalajara's Teatro Degollado, Six Hotel boasts an excellent location for exploring the old town and its many sights. The hotel itself is small, with only thirty rooms. Room sizes are relatively small, compared to places like The Dali Plaza or the Medoza. However, they are furnished comfortably and the standard of housekeeping is very high. Overall, though there are better places around the city center, the Six is actually a very good fallback option if other hotels are fully booked.

Front desk dont speak english at all !!! I tried to check in ( after i reserved the room a week ago and had booking.com confirmation) , and i was told there are no rooms !!! Apparently they email you in SPANISH same day of your arrival , that if you dont show up by 18:00 they give the room away ... i arrived at 6:19 after having the taxi driver looking for this place for 30 minutes . The lady at the front desk did not communicate and didn't care. She just told me “no habitacion” So yea , as a solo female traveler i was kicked out with no room to stay . Even though i had reservations with booking.com and they had credit card on file . The street parallel to this hotel is extremely dangerous at dark, and that is told by few locals living here .
