Six Palms Villas - 83554 Playa Encanto

Positive : Right on the beach Secluded location away from the crowds Updated house Ceiling Fans in all bedrooms Cons: No garbage disposal No dishwasher No fun having to wash dishes on vacation ;( Kept having trouble with Wi-Fi connection Jacuzzi was not operating

I can’t express how amazing this place is. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! We will definitely be back for the amazing experience and service. The care taker Eduardo is truly an amazing host and provided such an exceptional experience that we will continue to visit solely on his ability to make us feel welcome and safe through our entire stay. 5 stars to the experience and 10 stars to Eduardo’s hospitality!!

This place is amazing. The grounds keeper is very accommodating, the property is beautiful. Will definitely go back. Only way it could be better is to get the road paved.

We were there the 12th through the 16th of August and without a doubt it was a wonderful experience a beautiful location words do not describe how beautiful the villas are. The caretaker of the villas was more than helpful came and found us when we were lost went to the store provided us with everything that we needed to have an enjoyable relaxing time. We will definitely be making this a home base when we go to Rocky point Mexico you should too!

Aesthetically the building is stunning, but our experience was not deserving of 5 stars. We got lost on the way there and so did other guests. Even our photographer who is a local got lost-so kudos to anyone who gets there on their first try alone. The groundskeeper Eduardo whom so many people raved about was not welcoming nor friendly. In fact he was very arrogant. There were cleaning issues inside the villa. (Dirty sheets and covers). We knew the hot tub didn’t work however they began fixing it during our stay and all the debris fell in the pool. This includes the broken mosaics and cement debris. There were cabinet doors that were falling off due to loose screws. There is no dishwasher and given that this place opened during Covid there really should be, but they are also missing a garbage disposal in the sink. The toilets seats don’t fit the toilets (visibly smaller), and although it’s an extra cleaning step it would be nice if the staff was provided cleaning supplies to wipe out the drawers of the bedrooms. Since there is no tv in some of the bedrooms, we used the rollout bed to accommodate everyone together for movie nights which is a wonderful amenity however that was also left unclean. It was very evident that they forgot to clean those sheets as there was a lot of sand in that rollout bed. An unforeseen circumstance occurred during our stay. They had issues with the sewage and it caused us to lose water on two different occasions. It wasn’t for more than an hour, but it was inconvenient as my father is handicapped and it happened as he was about to shower. And another time as we were in the middle of cooking. As an FYI the place is not handicap friendly but it’s not impossible as there is at least one bedroom on the first floor which worked for us. Rails would definitely be helpful though. Another thing you should know is that when you book this place you are gambling on having good villa neighbors (so if you can book up the entire place with friends and family that is the way to go). We stayed for 7 nights and had the place to ourselves the last two nights and it was awesome but over the weekend we had neighbors who got drunk and tried getting in our villa and left beer cans floating in the pool and all over the grounds. So it’s definitely something to keep in mind as this is a more secluded and private stay there really isn’t security per se to keep the people in check. Despite all the issues we encountered the place really is beautiful. The views are amazing-breathtaking really.The beach is sandy with a lot of shells. The vendors are mainly there on weekends but the masseuses are there almost everyday. They are fantastic. You have the option to stay outside and get your massage, or inside the privacy of your villa. Our stay would have been a total flop if it hadn’t been for the property manager Erika Eliasen. She helped guide us when we were lost and sent the groundskeeper to find us. After informing her of all of the incidents she personally came to speak with us at our villa. She also personally assisted with the cleaning of the pool to get rid of the broken mosaic that fell in the pool along with the debris as she understood that you could easily cut yourself. There was also an ant problem which she came herself to get rid of by spraying some tough repellent. She is very sweet and professional; the owner is lucky to have her. She reported all of the issues to the owner and stated he was embarrassed by everything we were experiencing but even still he did not bother to reach out to us. He didn’t offer any kind of refund but most importantly he didn’t even offer a sincere apology which would have made all the difference. I should have known based on his response to another review. You can tell he does not take accountability and becomes defensive so keep that in mind. Also: We booked direct from their six palms villas website and I can confirm it is safe, secure, and legitimate. Also helped save some money compared to the added fees from Airbnb and VRBO.

We recently stayed at Six Palms Villas for 4 nights and let me tell you it was amazing! The grounds for safe and clean. Eduardo who lives on the property was beyond attentive and very nice. It’s about a 25 minute drive from the Malecon, but we didn’t mind at all because we just wanted to enjoy the villas. We rented 3 of the 4 villas. The owners were very responsive and answered all our questions. Their directions were spot on. We can’t wait to go back and rent out the entire property!!

It was lovely. It is the beginning of an up and coming area. It is meant for you to just do pool and beach time. Not to venture out. So bring everything you need to chill 4 the weekend. It was paradise and we were catered to. The people came and made us fresh fruit drinks. Vendors sold things to us on the beach ⛱️ ? so lots of bring cash. Massages on the beach was the icing on the cake. ⚠️ Town is 20+ minutes away and I would say you need a tour guide or to go during the day. Due to the dirt roads and little lighting, it easy to get lost when trying to go to the city. I was told to becareful how far you walk down the beach to the left.

To say this place had views to take my breath away would be an understatement. I truly have no words so I added a few pictures from our time there! It was such a nice quiet section of beach too, and at night you could do some really great stargazing because it is located further away from town which makes it worth the drive. Full kitchen, extra wine fridge, nice water pressure in the showers, I might be easy to please but I'm not quite sure what they could add because everything was so cute! Will be back!
