★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renté un auto este fin de semana en la oficina que está en Reforma dentro del Hotel Barceló, tenía que entregar el auto el lunes antes de las 3.30 pm, llegué a las 2 pm y la oficina estaba cerrada, traté de comunicarme a la oficina pero nadie respondió, así que tuve que irme ya que a las 3 pm tenía una cita importante que surgió el mismo día, cuando regresé a entregar el auto 4.30 pm me penalizaron con 3000 pesos, prácticamente el doble de la renta y nadie, ni la señora en la oficina ni servicio al cliente tuvieron la minima disposición de ayudarme, simplemente me dieron un correo electrónico para levantar mi queja. No creo que sea justo que deba de pagar el doble porque no tienen a alguien en su oficina. Simplemente un robo.
 I rented a car this weekend at the office that is in Reforma inside the Hotel Barceló, I had to deliver the car on Monday before 3.30 pm, I arrived at 2 pm and the office was closed, I tried to contact the office but Nobody answered, so I had to leave since at 3 pm I had an important appointment that came the same day, when I returned to deliver the car at 4.30 pm I was penalized with 3000 pesos, practically double the rent and nobody, not the lady In the office or customer service they had the minimum willingness to help me, they simply gave me an email to raise my complaint. I don't think it's fair that you should pay double because they don't have someone in their office. Simply a robbery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited an hour and 15 minutes for the shuttle and it never came. I called the phone number and the bus driver cussed at me and hung up. Went inside and rented with another company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could rate it less then one star I would. Don't even bother with this place, we booked a car a week in advance and they told us on the morning we were meant to pick up the car that they have nothing for us. Left us desperately trying to find a car on the same day and now we'll have to drive through Michoacán at night which is less then ideal. Never again Sixt!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s not closed but it should be. Total garbage of a car rental spot.
Had a reservation at 9am. Showed up at 9:30. Attendant was “away” I called the number for them to return only to be told I wasn’t there at 9 and that there are no cars available. Lady refused to help find a vehicle.
Said they tried calling but of course they didn’t. This isn’t a real rental spot. I’m guessing they don’t have cars on location. Again total garbage

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ruined my whole trip. Got to the end of the rental process and they asked for $40,000MX as a deposit. I have never in my life paid cash for a rental deposit let alone that much (usually a credit card hold). Will never use Sixt again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A total scam. Usually Sixt is a good renting company in Europe, but the one here in Mexico City is a disaster. We brought the car 3 hours later than we agreed initially. They told us we have to pay one more day for the car + insurance, but they didn't let us use the car for one more day. Three weeks later and we are still waiting for our deposit back. There is no one at their company to talk to, only a very rude guy. Avoid them if you care about your money, time and energy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid for premium car and the only one available was in poor mechanical and cosmetic condition. I’ve used Sixt in Europe and US, but it’s not the same standard in Mexico.
Response to Sixt´s comment below: AICM Terminal 1, but this applies to the company (in Mexico as my experience elsewhere has been great) and not a single branch. To quote your employee, "It is the same fare for a 2022 brand new SUV with all the gadgets vs a 2017, 80 thousand km, no bluetooth SUV in bad shape (cosmetic both interior/exterior & mechanic). It all depends on the availability". I also received the SUV with 1/4 fuel tank and the windshield was cracked which beyond a cosmetic condition it is a safety hazard.
