So I just happened to be in Nogales AZ as a driver, and needed to see a dentist badly. I'd had a few of my Mexican friends suggest going to Mexico because I don't have dental insurance. I was a bit hesitant to come south of the border for dental care but decided to take the chance. I took the bus from Wal Mart to the border for $1.50 and walked to Smile Care which was less than 5 minutes across the border. It was crowded and I had no appointment, but ended up with a free xray, cleaning and 2 cavities filled for $125 in about 2 hours time total. I'd definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for quality dental care for a very affordable price. I'll definitely be returning for my future dental needs.. Bye bye insurance!

I can't say enough good things about Smile Dental Nogales and Dr Regina Villegas.  I've visited or had work done at other dental offices in Nogales and none of them seem to embrace customer service.  Smile Dental gets it! 1.  English proficiency.  Whether its a procedure explanation, appointment discussions or billing questions, everyone I dealt with had excellent English skills.  Nothing worse than everyone getting frustrated because of misunderstandings. 2.  Great attention to detail.  Dr Regina Villegas and her dental assistant were attentive and very considerate of patient comfort.  I've been to many a dentists over the years who are unwilling to adjust anything they are used to doing, even if the patient requests it.  Whether that is changing the angle of recline so you aren't choking or letting you take a minute break when you need it without giving you a hard time, these two nailed the little details! 3.  Thorough, patient explanations.  Dr Regina Villegas explained all the options, pros and cons, without bias or pushing.  And she patiently answered all my questions without getting annoyed.  I know I can sometimes ask too many questions (because of previous dental experiences) so bless her for putting up with me. 4.  Great prices.  All of the Nogales dental places are pretty close to the same--about 25% of what I would pay in Phoenix.  So given they are all about the same price, I am so happy to have had the work done here.  They were just so much better than about any other dentist I've seen in the last 30 years. I will definitely be back.
