Some of the best barbecue I’ve had in my life. Service was as amazing as the food was. Can’t wait to return on the next vacation!

We ordered a big meal 920 pesos, 1 x Rack of ribs, 1/2 chicken, Pull pork, chili bowl, this was supposed to feed 5-6 people. We were disappointed with this, it was to much calcined. The chicken was very dry and canonized, and there is no way we had half a chicken. Pull pork plate comes with 3 taco shell, those cost nothing, why only 3?? You could barely see any BBQ sauce on the pulled pork. We had to ask for additional BBQ sauce, and they brought us like 2 tablespoon of sauce for 5 peoples.... What the hell, this is a BBQ place, we should not have to ask for BBQ sauce and when we do it should be enough for everyone at the table, they are cheaping out on BBQ sauce in a Smoke BBQ place, good lord.... With the Chili bowl, you had 2 pieces of garlic bread, again cheaping out on bread, then we ask for some tortillas chips, to eat with the chili, here in Ixtapa most restaurant give you a basket of those for free, they charge 20 pesos and there was like 10 chips laid down in a flat plate, what a shame again cheaping out in the wrong places. The server told us wine was 320 for the bottle, comes out on the invoice at 350. Only the Ribs had enough BBQ sauce on them, and the taste was good for Ixtapa, they are not baby back ribs, but they are pretty tasty. The chill was amazing, but then you are left out without tortillas chips and bread to eat it, so you just eat it like soup. I guess that is the common thing to do here in Mexico. My recommendation is that you guys stop cheaping out on sides like bread, tortillas, tortillas chips, and most importantly on BBQ sauce, your sauce is amazing you should be able to add as much as you like on your meat.

We went last year and absolutely loved the Brisket on Mashed Potatoes with Cole Slaw . . BUT a return visit this year was TERRIBLE . . The Brisket was rubbery (could neither cut nor chew the tasteless strands of leather) . . The Mashed Potatoes were soupy and tasteless . . And the Cole Slaw was bitter and soggy. RUN THE OTHER WAY !!

Fantastic barbecue! Friendly staff. We will Definitely go back! Note location on google maps is incorrect. They are located right next to the entrance to The Generals.
