El actual secretario general año 2016 es el profesor Crescencio Gutiérrez González. Mismo que ha pugnado por una renovación del edificio sindical modernizando notablemente las instalaciones.
El local cuenta con salas de juntas, un recibidor muy bien iluminado en el que hay pantallas planas que muestran información sobre la organización.
Además tiene un amplio estacionamiento, cancha de baloncesto y campo de fútbol.
Los docentes afiliados cuentan con apoyo para créditos del ISSSTE , asesoría para la evaluación docente, ayuda en la resolución de problemas laborales entre otros.
