Solera Tulum - 77760 Tulum

Very nice place with the nice pool. The room was big and clean. The staff mainly the owner are very friendly and nice. He can reccomend a lot of things to do around..just missing signs so its little hard to find it.

Great place to stay when In Tulum, although a few km's off the main area. Rooms are nice and the owner is very friendly and helpful. WiFi could be better for some rooms. Bikes are available for renting for 100pesos/24h.

The Solera in one word is paradise. So it's for you, if you don't mind not being in the center of Tulum and want to spend some time in paradise instead. There are two very sweet cats that are called Chip and Cheese which will make you laugh many times. A wonderful pool in the center of the hotel area is surrounded by colourful plants and flowers which makes you forget you are swimming in a pool. It actually looks quite like a cenote and also feels like one because the water is refreshingly cool. It's a small place in general but it's very clean, very friendly and full of laughter. There are free bikes to use if you don't have a car or fancy a nice bike ride to the cenotes or the beach. The rooms are big, the beds are fantastic and the showers are the best we used in Mexico so far;) Erwin is an absolut wonderful host! If you need help he is there, if you have a cough he makes you his special honey lemon drink which actually helps with the cough! If your friend gets sick and you have to leave his bikes behind, it's not a problem.. He makes you feel at home and is always there if needed. Erwin always has a good story to tell and makes you feel at home even before setting one foot in the Solera because he sends you a welcoming WhatsApp text. He is always reachable if you need anything and if there is a problem, it is solved like in no time! There is no restaurant at this place, but also for that Erwin has a simpel solution it's called Tomato and is a delivery service where you can choose from many different local food places if you are too tired to go out and go to a restaurant yourself. Summary: I would recommend this place for anybody who likes feeling looked after and likes a more familiar place to stay when on vacation. And doesn't mind not being in the center of the action.

La atención del staff, empezando por su manager Erwin, es fuera de serie, pues están siempre atentos a tus necesidades. Es el lugar indicado para disfrutar de tu estadía en Tulum. Superb hotel. A perfect place for resting since the rooms have plenty of space and are really comfortable. The service from the staff, and the manager in charge, is remarkable, as they are always ready to help you in whatever you may need. This is the right place for enjoying the beautiful town of Tulum.

AMAZING !! Owner welcome us very nice,explain everything. He makes for the visitors delicious breakfast. He is very friendly and give us really good recommendation for things to see and do. We really enjoy and love our stay there and feel like home. Thank you for everything. If i come back to Tulum if will be my first choice where to stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Solera. The hotel is small (8 rooms) which makes it feel very personal and peaceful. The pool is gorgeous and everything is designed/decorated with taste. The rooms are big with very comfortable beds and all include either a terrace or a balcony, a walk-in closet, AC, a TV - there are even bikes available which is a very pleasant way to hit the town or visit the area (the location is a bit remote but we appreciated the fact of not always being right in the middle of the action/people all the time). The owner and staff are very nice and welcoming - and will make you feel at home as well as giving you plenty of useful tips. Breakfast includes oatmeal, fresh fruit and a fresh orange juice. Everything, the place and service, are high quality.

The owner of the hotel was extremely nice and helpful to recommend different attractions and restaurants in the area. The hotel has great aesthetics, both inside and outside the rooms, and the breakfast was simple but great with made-to-order coffee and fresh fruit. There was a construction site next door but I couldn't hear them working from inside my room so it was no issue. Unfortunately, the way that the hotel is designed, you have to keep the curtains of your sliding glass door (which is the only source of natural light) closed in order to have any privacy. There was also a woman working in the "office" in the evenings who played movies in the evenings fairly loud which made it difficult to relax at the pool. Also, our bathroom door, which was a sliding barn door, was broken. It wasn't properly aligned and so it kept sliding back open.

One of the best hotel I've been in. The owner is very nice and gave us a lit if advice on places to go and restaurants. The bedrooms are very comfortable (with a fridge and a television included) and there is a big swimming pool. You can also order food on an internet platform and be delivered at the hotel. I recommend it to all of you that are planning to stay in Tulum!
