★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow best pizza I had in a long time of travelling. The bottom and crust is very good and crunchy. Compared to Italian pizza it had a lot more cheese and spices which made it very flavourful. The pizza is so big that you can share one and choose different types which makes it also very inexpensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pizza was so delicious we came back two nights in a row! Amazing service and one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. If we weren’t flying back to Canada today we would probably be there for a 3rd night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for pizza - this is a great option. Probably the best pizza I had on the island. Pizza is the thin, crispy crust style - and done well. Small with limited seating options - but wasn't an issue when I was there. Sangria was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most amazing pizza. Thin crust and delicious toppings plus the coldest beer we had on Isla Mujeres. The staff are super friendly and the owner David is a great guy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall good experience. Just the 2 of us, and we sat inside as a light rain started. The service was the best - he really seemed to enjoy his job and had a lot of recommendations. We went with the four cheese pizza which was good. the crust is thin and crispy and there was plenty of cheese. the red sauce is slightly on the sweeter side, but full of garlic and flavor. The only suggestion I would have is to add garlic (cheese) bread to the appetizer menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I visited Sonny's on 12/15/21. It was a nice place to grab a pizza in a place where you don't find a lot of pizza. The meatballs were pretty good but a bit soft for my taste. The balsamic was a nice touch. The jalapeno margarita was tasty, nicely spiced and a bit smokey. We also ordered the lobster pizza which, in my opinion, is very overrated. Aside from the fact that it did not have enough lobster to make it the star of the show, it had too much sauce, WAY too much cheese, and the crust was a bit tough and thick for my taste which made it difficult to get through more than a slice. Sonny is a nice guy. He visited all of the customers that evening while we were there and if I'm ever on the island again I would give the place another try and order some other items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely great pizza. In fact we were there for 48 hours on the island it was the best food we could find on the island they really take their time with a fresh ingredients and understand what it takes to make great pizza. Treat yourself to a sangria which they make and house fresh with absolutely fresh fruit. Special thanks to Enrique for making us feel very comfortable. They only except cash that’s the only thing that makes it difficult.
