For a great getaway pandering this place is a must.

Very disappointed. I have been going to this spa for years. It closed for awhile to remodel and, I think, due to Covid. I went twice this week. Both times I was disappointed. First, I did not know that my massage appointment was the last of the day. Do not book the last of the day, or you will not be able to take a shower or use the hydrotherapy options afterward. Plus, everyone is talking, laughing, trying to get you out. I felt pressure even to get dressed and leave. Second, the second massage? I planned to use the hydrotherapy area when I came out--jacuzzi, sauna, steam, shower. No. While I was in there, they closed it, saying it will be closed for an hour. For second time out of two visits, had to put clean clothes on over massage oils. Not a good feel. Both times it was as loud as a bar. some of it was other patrons, they did not know/understand that you could hear people, but the employees themselves never stopped yukking it up. The new remodel is nice, but there is a serious problem with the lockers. you just touch the door to your locker and the entire unit bobbles back and forth. The hydrotherapy area? needs some remediation because the floors are soaked with at least 1/4 but more like 1/2 inch water. sloppy towels are placed in places, but they do nothing. They just sit around on the floor, sopping wet towels. This is not the level of service or attention Palenque was known for "in the day." The place is to relax, which is impossible with the laughing and talking, especially resounding off the marble tiles. Please, if you only fix one thing, fix this!
