D	David Wee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a delightful school in a beautiful neighborhood in Mérida. The teachers are super friendly and very competent. Classes are very comfortable and the curriculum is structured to meet the specific needs of each student. I was very happy with how much I learned about Mexican culture in addition to the Mexican particulars in using the Spanish language. The school set me up with a wonderful homestay too, and the administrator took me on day excursions to historic and beautiful places in the area.

When I arrived in Mérida, I had only two weeks left to perfect my Spanish before I started an internship of 6 months in Mérida. The teachers at Spanish Center Mérida helped me improve my Spanish significantly within two weeks from level A2 to B2! I don't know what I would have done without them. The teachers are extremely friendly, fun and helpful. One day we prepared a Mexican dish together, and they took into account that I am a vegetarian, which I truly appreciated. This is the place to go if you want to improve your Spanish!

I learned so much in a very short period of time and it helped me gain more confidence with the language and be able to communicate better. I would recommend Spanish Center Merida to anyone who is interested in learning Spanish while in Mexico.

I was able to ask whatever questions I had, but she was prepared to teach material she thought would be most helpful. It was so great for not only Spanish, but to have someone help us figure out the basics of living in the city. Our 10 and 8 year old boys also took classes. They were not very excited to take the class but had only good things to say about their teacher and their class. They have more desire to try speaking than they did before they took the class. We have already recommended this school to new friends we have met and are grateful for the experience we had.
M	Myles Noel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spanish Center Merida was a wonderful experience and not only because of the high quality instructors, small groups (most often one on one) but the efforts that were taken to support, monitor, encourage and instruct was so personal and warm. When correcting my mistakes I always felt their genuine desire to see me succeed. They also provided some unique experiences to visit the market, share in the food and celebration of a traditional festival and to play scrabble in Spanish. Every effort was made to encourage me and to help me succeed. I hope to return to my new found friends next year.

We took a week of Spanish course (3 hours per day) to prepare us for the further journey. We were both total beginners and within a week we learned a lot! The lessons were good fun and Telma, the teacher, really nice and friendly. We could recommend this school to anyone as a enrichment to their trip :-)

It was a great experience and I can't recommend the Center more highly. All the instructors are so kind and patient - especially given my brain's inability to grasp languages quickly! The 4-hour/day intensive one-on-one tutoring was exactly what I needed to start building my Spanish language foundation (thank you!). I look forward to enrolling for additional hours when I am back in Merida.
