★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been having Spanish lessons with Juan & Octavio. They're highly experienced, patient teachers who adapt the classes to suit me. I came to Mexico City speaking absolutely no Spanish and they've got me to the level where I can say anything I want and discuss (relatively) complex topics! For a while I took classes online with Octavio during the pandemic but I plan to return to classes in person. I'd highly recommend Sees Spanish School.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this language school! I started taking lessons with Juan awhile ago, and my conversation skills took off. He is great at tailoring classes to meet your interests and goals. After taking classes with him, I was able to enter a higher education program offered in Spanish. I recommend him to my friends and family! 10 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Octavio has taken me from barely being able to count up to ten in Spanish, to conjugating the subjunctive in my sleep.
Ive been a student here on and off for two years (in a previous incarnation under the private tutelage of Octavio). They offer in-person and small group classes, both of which I've enjoyed. Octavio and Juan are both great teachers, easy to understand and very charming.
The building is really nice, well-located and spacious. They're keen to introduce people to each other, so from a social point of view it's been a great opportunity to make friends and meet new people.

My Spanish has gotten much better since I started taking classes with him and I feel my confidence boosting when I speak Spanish in the real world too. Octavio is a very kind and patient Spanish teacher who is able to retain information about your personal interests and weave them into his teaching to make lessons engaging, personal and meaningful. His proficiency in English means that he is able to explain more complex grammatical rules in English as and when required too.
Octavio’s knowledge of Mexico also helps you to discover new and exciting places off the tourist map and to learn more about Mexican culture. I highly recommend taking Spanish lessons at SEES.

When I first moved to Mexico and didn’t speak a word of Spanish I started taking classes with Octavio and he’s guided my learning process for about a year, taking me from a basic level to an intermediate-advanced very successfully. Octavio is an experienced teacher who’s capable to tailor classes to his students and prepare ad-hoc materials. On top of all that, he’s an amazing human being, super kind and fun to work with. I 100% recommend his school.

Teachers are patient and caring. Lessons focus on grammar as well as culture. Lots of opportunity to practice speaking without fear. They have really helped me build my confidence as well as my ability to speak Spanish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking classes twice a week with Juan for about a year and a half. I had studied Spanish with a teacher where I live for about 8 years but wanted a smaller group. There are only 2 students in his class so I have had lots of space to speak and ask questions. Juan is an excellent teacher with great patience, a sense of humour and clear pronunciation. He assigns challenging homework and structures our classes in an organized, interesting way. I highly recommend him!
