★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menu seems to focus on the very health conscious and/or vegetarians. Lighting is very low, so I couldn't see the menu well, but others seemed to be ordering burgers. I had a spinach salad with fish, which I enjoyed. Will have to go back in the day so I can read the menu. Service seems slow, but the place was full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hubs meal was outstanding, he ordered pasta with fresh fish dorado. Fish portion could have been doubled in size, gladly pay more for decent fish, it was prepared perfectly with lots of flavor. I ordered a vegetarian sweet potato burger… bad choice, mushy not good. Salsas we’re good, drinks were good too. We would go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place, nicely located. Service is as Mexican as it can get: patience is a virtue (except when you ask the bill). Besides that, the food is amazing. I had a Fajitas Veggie and my girlfriend had a Soy Burger. Although my plate was very tasty, my girlfriend told me the burger was too dry. Luckily we had some very tasty smoothies, which washed away that dryness.

My boyfriend and I have stayed in Puerto Escondido for a whole month and been to Spirulina countless times because we couldn't get enough!! We tried a lot of things on their menu, we really love the Gorilla Pancakes, the sandwiches with chicken, allll their smoothies and milkshakes (the Hipster is our favorite tho!) The dinner we had there was super nice as well (recommend the fajitas)! Frappuccino is amazing, and the people there were literally always nice to us and happy to take our order. We will be back next month, first stop will be Spirulina ;-)
