Great place to take a sun catcher, fused glass or stained glass workshop and many items for purchase.

My wife and two of her friends went here to make fused glass and had lots of fun while taking their one of a kind art pieces home. They only regretted they didn't have enough time for another class.

Next to the Winged Iguana is the Splash of Glass, where you can take workshops to learn how to make glass beads using a blowtorch, or stained glass, or fused glass, filigree (which is like stained glass in my opinion), and other stuff like sandblasting designs onto glass... If there is some wicked fun stuff you can do with glass to cut it, shape it, torch it, bake it, paint it, whatever, then this couple (Hans and Irene) will show you how to do it. They don't teach you how to make those cheesy blown-glass animals you get in the malls, though I suspect the torch work is quite similar. These two are expats from Lethbridge Alberta, eh? They have this big furry cuddle bear of a dog named Bonita. Hans and Irene have a great sense of humor, so taking a class is like hanging out at your neighbor's garage while they do house projects, imagine you are sitting there having a beer and learning how to use power tools and stuff like that... No, you won't be drinking a beer during the class, just saying as analogy... the classes run about 2 hours though my wife and I did the lampwork bead class and it went overtime, but they just kept on going till we got it right, and we turned some brightly colored rods of Italian Murano glass into pretty blobs of molten, well, glass... which as they cooled formed into all sorts of nifty looking beads. The beads can then be strung to become earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and so on, so fun! I think we have a fascinating new hobby my wife is going to spend all kinds of money on from now on! I'm content watching her do the work really, something about fire amuses me, and you get to wear these dystopian/steampunk looking cool glasses when you are doing it, that's almost worth the price alone. With all the tours people do on holiday, it's great to actually learn something new and unique, especially so if it's some art form that you can take up, and continue when you get back home. Hans and Irene dumped their busy glass shops back in Canada to retire here and teach us how to do neat stuff with glass, and I am glad for that. Even if you aren't into being creative and making stuff, they also sell the creations there, hence it's a gallery as well as a working studio. Definitely worth a look if any of this sounds interesting, and makes for a good use of a few hours if you are looking for something out of the norm to do while in Bucerias. Best part is you can take what you made home with you and impress everyone by showing off your souvenir and saying "I made that!"
