just got back from a cruise. I had booked a fishing trip and these guys stepped it up it was a great time got on some fish and just overall great experience my only complaint was I wish we could have been on the water for a few more hours

My husband had a deep sea fishing trip booked for today. Pick up was at 6:15. After repeated phone calls the front desk was able to get an answer just before 7 am. Without notice his trip had been cancelled. When my husband asked why he was told the other couple cancelled last minute. Having been on many deep sea fishing trips before we know it is the norm to pay ahead of time and if you don't show up you lose your money and the trip still goes ahead (and when we asked the Sunwing rep we booked with what happen s if thebother people cancel, he assured us that yes the trip wouldmproceed even if you are the only one on the boat because everyone has paid). So when he asked about that he was told they had not yet paid. Upon further questioning the "we just found out" that the cancelled was actually known the previous morning! Such terrible customer service. Ruined 2 days of our trip as we planned yesterday around getting to bed in time to get up early and today. They offered to reschedule to Wed but 1. Why would we trust them? Why risk the disappointment and 2. He picked today based on the weather reports and it was the calmest day of the week. Wed that they keep pushing is calling for 16-25 km/hr winds. Very disappointed in this company. We booked through Sunwing as they use "reliable" companies and we got the service we would expect from the guy selling a fishing trip on the street.

Purchased for 7 of us at $68/person to Deer Island. Then converts to pesos at 21/$ when exchange is 19/$. Advertised as chicken beef and marlin tacos for lunch They had pasta with ham and beef machaca + no fish or marlin tacos as advertised.. I don't eat meat but do eat seafood so nothing to eat as beans are loaded with lard... Trapped on an island I experience yet another "Mexican Surprise" with no recourse. I can look across the water at my hotel where I paid all inclusive and I sit here hungry, trapped.

My friend and I went deep sea fishing for Marlin. We had the pleasure of having Aries X Captain Bill. They looked after us fabulously. We had a Marlin on line just 2 hours from leaving the dock. It just so happened to be one of the biggest that Captain has had in his boat. Took just 45 minutes to reel in. It was also the first Marlin to be brought in to the Marina in a month. Thank you Captain Bill.

Just came back from fishing. Caught 1 small 80 lb stripe marlin. Took 5 minutes to land. A little tug not much of a fight. Too heavy of gear. Circled and chased 7 or 8 other marlin. Couldn't get them to bite. Maybe if we used fresher bait or even changed bait might have got another bite. Maybe exciting for a newbie. A 2 lb trout fly fishing is better. Butcher job of filleting of the fish too. Guide only cares about the tip.

Had a fabulous day aboard the Aries X with Captain Guillermo and Rubens. Landed this beautiful 100 lb marlin and watched another the same size spit out our hook! Boat is great and crew was fantastic - they spotted the marlin and circled them until we hooked one! They certainly know what they're doing! Definitely highly recommended. Highlight of our trip! We took this tour both to stone island and deer island. The crew were absolutely FANTASTIC. My mom especially loved no way Jose! He was so sweet. They are so accommodating, friendly and never let your drink go empty!! Take these tours, it's so much fun and just the absolute best excursion off the main island. So cool to see the lives of the people on stone island.
